Lovely dog friendly pub, menu not too extensive, but OMG, the portions were huge and amazing value for money.
Service was also great , the staff being very attentive and happy to be there.

Outstanding. Had the best lunch here. Fantastic food, great service and wonderful location. 10 out of 10. Had 3 courses and coffee, loved every bit of the whole experience.

Came for a meal on Christmas Eve with my partner and puppy (there’s a dedicated seating area that’s dog friendly). Every member of staff we spoke to were so lovely and welcoming. Our food was absolutely delicious some of the best food I’ve ever had out. The pub is cosy and inviting, a lovely atmosphere and booked to go back for another special occasion.

I visited for a baby shower last weekend and we all had such a lovely time. The place itself was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they were really accommodating of our baby shower rubbish (thank you staff for dealing with it all). The roast dinner was great as were the deserts. The staff were really friendly and spirited.

Visited at lunchtime today whilst in the area for my partners birthday. Amazing, friendly service (I'd mentioned that it was my fiancé's birthday and arrived to a balloon and happy birthday sign, and we were given a taster dessert with Happy Birthday piped on it FOC). Food was fantastic, so tasty. This is my second visit and I'd go again.

Had a fantastic meal at the White lion. Great setting and a nice feel inside the pub and restaurant. Had a superb 3 course meal which was the best I had enjoyed for some time. Fine selection of real ales too. Will certainly be returning.

The staff are very friendly, and the food is out of this world !

Our second visit to the Wheatacre White Lion for food while staying near Beccles and just like our first experience, the food was brilliant and the service was friendly! The staff are really inviting and the atmosphere is lovely. Will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Best Pub fish & chips I've ever had, and that' saying something. Service great too. Excellent pub, Highly recommended.
Ensure you book for a weekend visit. We hadn't, not expecting it to be so busy, but they managed to squeeze us in. Definitely returning soon.

Was staying nearby and looking for somewhere nice for dinner to celebrate our birthdays. Being gluten free (coeliac) can sometimes make it difficult to eat out, but the choices here were lovely and the staff were very attentive.

Fantastic service and amazing food to match. Always a pleasure to visit and is the first choice when looking for a venue to celebrate 🍾 family occasions

The food was superb. Cannot fault it what so ever. Good portions, well presented, full of flavour and taste. Well done to the chef.

Stacks of parking to front or rear of pub. Good outside seating. Good level of decor and cleanliness inside.

Staff were friendly and always helpful, less the young lad who on our arrival decided that he would take a fancy to the two girls who arrived after us and served them first. Not v professional.

We had a table in the bar rather the main restaurant which was OK and we were happy with. Only Downside was the inordinate amount of time it took to get served. We very much felt like an afterthought. Took almost three hours for us to get through three courses. Not great.

Very nice meal and get together in lovely setting with special company. Definitely worth another look after last night's first visit. Bit of a gem!
