Costa Coffee

Came here as had "5mins" for a coffee break, as only in Consett for a work call. Had the new Salted Caramel Milkshake (as a take out), and very nice too!! Staff friendly and helpful. Would come again when next in Consett.

I have always been very standoffish about costa coffee, i guess i still am as i personally feel like it's extremely overpriced and full of ponch's. The staff seemed friendly i suppose and the place was clean and they had chillout music 🎶 🎵 on in the background, the coffee i was got was nice but it just all seems a pointless to me..in my eyes 👀 you go out for a drink & that involves a pub or at the very least a small owner owned cafe..would I go again, if I had to, but i still wont change my mind, its a bit lefty for my cuppa tea..

Took the kids for a "hot" chocolate drink just before Christmas. Couldn't believe the prices, 60p each kids drink!!! Didn't think it was possible to go out and spend so little money, three drinks £3.80. Kids loved the hot chocolate as it comes ready to drink and it's not burning hot 🔥. Toilets were clean, staff were super friendly and everything had a festive atmosphere. Will be going back.

Staff member very friendly and helpful. I have a nut allergy and she went through the allergy book with me . I felt a bit bad for holding the que up but nothing seemed to be to much for her .name on the reciept says Ami .♥ XX

Loved it in here came in with husbands nan for lunch we had a latte and toasted sandwich and some millionaire shortbread. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff in there are really lovely and chatty. Wouldnt hesitate to go again. Pricey for what we had but knew costa is so was prepared.

Atmosphere was lovely and staff were great. Coffee was very nice too. Place was so clean and tidy which is a credit to the staff.

A very welcome visit - the Christmas themed menu is delicious. My favourite is the After Eight mint hot chocolate, perfection in a cup. The nice way of warming up on a cold winter day.

One of the better Costa's, staff very efficient, and don't ignore counter customer to favor drive through traffic, (unlike Starbucks) nice atmosphere and good mix of generations.

A drive through Costa, can be busy at times, drive through is tight, I find it better off parking in the normal carpark and walk in. Friendly staff, comfortable seating, typical Costa, could always be cheaper for cake of coffee 😉
Always my preference to a Starbucks

We went to the drive through the other day as a treat after a long cold walk, and my daughter got a gingerbread latte. She said it was the best coffee ever! We were served quickly by friendky people.

Food and drink is wonderful as always. But the staff are always so warm and welcoming. Maddy is especially friendly. Service makes this place brilliant 👏

Lovely coffee shop. Girl with the split dyed blue and black hair who served was lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Always better than Starbucks. Normally use drive thru, and the staff are great on it. Never had any issue

Extremely friendly staff. Service is always cheerful, very quick service. Very small, cosy store. Food is amazing (I'd recommend the millionaire shortbread), always thanked by staff whenever I'm finished.

Used drive though. Quick service and tasty ice coffee. Can use blue light card there. And staff are friendly.

Love Costa after long walk poped in for coffee good service got a seat outside have to admit sitting looking a a busy carpark isn't glamorous but one mouthful of coffee makes everything so mutch better ,☕♥xx
