Barry's Bargain Superstore

I visit at least once a month to buy a few crates of soft drinks and the odd snack (always a huge range in & lots of short dated (long-life) products at knock down prices.... E.g. 72 cans of quality soft drinks (3 crates) for 8p a can!
Or premium chocolate (£4 a bar stuff) at 50p a bar

Don't visit if on a diet. 😉

Brilliant if yv got kids for sweets chocolate and pop, biscuits, cakes crackers you name it they probably have it, get yr spices herbs soy sauce, keeping my eyes open for oyster sauce, perfect place to get things in for kids when school holidays are here, they have a fridge 2 with bacon cheese ect, household cleaning stuff, you find something new everytime.

I travel from Cramlington to Consett in a regular basis to visit Barry's Bargains. It's full of bargains such as pot noodles and sweets for ridiculously low prices. Beer is so cheap I could afford to become alcohol dependant, and yet I found myself buying 4 cans of Budweiser 0% alcohol for £1. It the best shop in the north east.

Cheaper than cheap, which in this day and age isn't a bad thing

Check the dates before buying but if you are not bothered buy away never had anything bad from Barry's to be fair.

Staff are very friendly and helpful & it's reasonably priced

For bargain short-date or slightly out of sell-by drinks, confectionery, foodstuffs and toiletries. Prices slashes, great bargains.

Pretty busy,lots of cut price food,not always near end of use by dates.nice friendly staff.

Very good value and excellent products

Love going in here but it’s so dangerous with all the sweets and chocolate they have at amazing prices. Yes, they may be close to the “best before” date but that doesn’t matter if you’re going to be eating them soon anyway!

Could easily spend £££ and stock up.

Staff seem to know the price of everything without even thinking which is amazing considering the amount of products they have.

Myself and my wife travel all the way from Hertfordshire to visit some friends every few months and we always want to take a visit to Barry's bargains.
If you are after a ton of chocolate, sweets, crisps, even things you've not heard of but know you'd like this is the place to go. And it's so cheap.
Many offers such as 3 for a pound of decent large chocolate bars. The only thing that I could mention would be the staff aren't exactly the happiest, but then again they are serving a ton a chocolate and not getting any themselves.

Fantastic shop such a great choice of goods at extremely reasonable prices, came out with all sorts as couldn't resist. Staff were lovely. Only thing I would say is that receipts dont itemise what you bought and I'd gone in with my nan and I paid for everything to make it easier then we couldn't work out what was hers and what was mine in the receipt but that's the only issue. Would recommend to anyone.

Lots of bargains and really really good prices! The manager was also very friendly and greeted every customer and waved them off

Love going to see what bargains I can pick up. The only trouble is I put on a stone of weight every time I visit because of all the sugary treats on offer. I always seem to buy more than I say I would but with prices tempting me like they do, it's hard to not out them in your basket. I think we'll both end up with arms as long as an orangutan carrying out haul to the car.

The finest shopping experience imaginable with utterly red hot deals. I was simply blown away. Barry certainly knows what he is doing here. The ladies on the tills were polite and charming as well, working in the best bargain retailer in the UK the I'm not surprised. I'll be back.

Lots of stuff there, just pay attention to the dates as out of date not stated on some. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area

Great place for the perfect bargain and it’s not far from the bus station or car park and it’s got bargains galore for groceries and drinks and sweets and snacks and you never know the next present for your other or friends
