I've been a customer of Lidl for over 30 years now, starting when I lived in Germany. I love it, I prefer the old shop that didn't sell brands and was cheaper, but it really shook up the retail market.

Great shop, lovely and light and airy. Plenty of room in aisles. Great prices and love the bakery.

Easy to park. Limited variety of products. Low prices

Great that they have childrens trolleys. Certainly kept our teo youngest toddlers entertained

Enjoy buying a screw driver and 4 pints of milk at the same time.

Loved the brands they sell.

Lidl so much better than A.... Some good greek and polish food. I like the bakery section, Pasta del Nata one of my faves,!!

Good size Lidl with good staff

Clean, quiet and very friendly colleagues. Selling more branded products. Second weeks shop here. Great fresh foods can't fault this place. A refreshing surprise. Great value.

We called in to charge the car, a large car park but it was very quite, the biggest problem was when I came back to the car where a leaf was trying to change, but he could not as the charger can only charge 1 car and he was not from the area, so I explained everything to him.

Lidl could put in 20 chargers easily and not impact the car park or area. This is what is needed

Update -the charger area still needs more units as more cars go electric

A great shop for everything you can need. They have a decent veggie section and it's great to pick up random new things to try.

The fresh baked section is second to none and I can highly recommend the mini pizzas and the cheese buns.

Lidl have a fab bakery and their fruit and veg last long

Well located easy access for all vehicles and good parent child parking spaces. Great value food and drink and wide choice of general goods and finally brilliant on your pocket. 😁👍

Can't say that I dislike this place as every time I have been, it seems to be quiet, and I can actually come out with what I went in for without any distress.

Also, I love the fresh bakery.

I really like going to Lidl, because this shop never seems to get too busy when I do go, there is plenty of space to park and plenty of space to move inside; it feels airy. I enjoy the themed weeks that they have, especially, as am French, when they have a French week and I can get some of the French food that I can't buy the rest of the time, like pommes-noisette. I have not been going regularly because it is a little out of town, but going tonight has reminded me how much I like it, so I will be back soon. It is worth driving the extra 500 yards!
Update: I now go every other week, it is totally worth it. Still quiet and the staff are friendly. Very good value for money.

Plenty of parking. Spacious inside. Friendly staff.

Good store on outskirts of Consett, with the full range of fresh Lidl produce. Very large store, well laid out and wide aisles.

50kW EV charger (which was a reason for coming here) is still 28p per kWh (31st July 2022).
