Lots of parking that can also be used to pop to the local shops as long as it's not more than 1.5 hours or you get a ticket. Good product selection as per typical Aldi shop! New offers every Thursday and Sunday and this store seems to have most of them. Can pay by debit or credit card.

The recent extensive extension and upgrade to this store has not only made a substantial difference to the store's overall size but to the complete new layout and vastly increased floor space, allowing for a greater product range. All in all a vast improvement!!

Went on the 28th Dec and at 78 felt a bit weak and ill,i was in the last row check out in the Consett store and the young girl behind the till must have noticed my distress,she not only packed my bags but offered to call me a taxi,and made sure i was safely picked up ....a great big thankyou to this lovely young woman,wish i knew her name,she's a star ❤

Well done ALDI in Consett. Well stocked. And whoever is at the front of the shop spacing everyone out and telling us when we can go in is an absolute joy. He is the most friendly and lovely person I have come across in the shops. Give him a good pat on the back
