What can I say after living in tadcaster for more than 10yrs, I am ashamed to say today was the first time, I have been in and I moved away two years ago. After my trip to Scallywags, I went into Lisa’s little tea rooms, why did I wait so long. It was fantastic, decent cup of tea, ample hot beef sandwich with salad coleslaw and the best part of the plate, the dish of homemade horseradish sauce(can I have the recipe). I was stuffed, so it was rude not to take away some cake for afternoon tea in front of the tele. Honestly, I will not leave it so long next time. Haircut, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. 👍

A super-friendly tea room with beautiful home made cakes, scones, sandwiches etc. Lisa is a wonderful baker.

Convenient parking opposite. Kids enjoy the chocolate cake while we have a scone and cup of tea. Apple scones are off the scale Lisa 👍

Lovely place, full of great little handmade gifts, lovely coffee and great cheese scone! Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again!

First time there today we had special afternoon tea was lovely the service was good also they have lovely knick knacks to buy all home made food too we both enjoyed it , we'll be back.
