Fox Cub

Come in for lunch today and had the Philly Cheese Steak and Chips. Steak was cooked to perfection and chips were beautiful !

Nice relaxing atmosphere, Ben and Ann-Marie provided a quick and friendly service with a smile.

Pub was clean, music relaxing, just what we needed for a friday afternoon to wind down before the wekeend!

This pub we came on Monday afternoon and wow! It has been a brilliant afternoon! The man who served us and brought our food has been incredible and such friendly and amazing service! The staff are all friendly and the food has been delicious and reasonable for their prices! £6.99 for a huge piece of cake was delicious and the chips and options if wanting to change amazing! As well as being able to order online instead of bar is amazing.

We went to the Fox Cub on Wednesday 7th and were really pleased with the service. The pub is dog friendly and staff were very attentive towards them and there were even treats available at the door. We were served by Shannon, who was very polite and friendly, and made a fuss of the dogs. The food was really nice and the service was fantastic

Called in for a quick pint. Live singer on and he sounded great. Good atmosphere Nice pint of Peroni served by Ann-Marie. Nice to see someone behind a bar Smiling and happy. Thanks will call again.

First time visiting as we were in the area. Was greeted by a lovely staff member who was also training someone. Ordered on the app, service was great, food was delicious. Would definately return again.

We came in for a drink and snack. Friendly service from the bar staff especially Ashleigh ! She was super chatty.

Really enjoyed the food. (Sometimes I can be a bit over done) but today was perfect. We got the grazer menu.

Offered the dog a drink which was sweet. We Had a lovely evening.

First time here Will was great Sunday dinner was good, Southern fried chicken burgers were brilliant.

Thank you for making my great grandmas 98th birthday so special! Myself and my partner had travelled up from Leeds to celebrate with her. Jack was an amazing host. He offered my great grandma a complimentary glass of Prosecco and didn't charge us for her meal. He was brilliant when we asked for the cake to be brought out and customer service was great. Thank you for making it such a special afternoon!

We love everything about the fox cub carvery is amazing. Staff are fantastic and very friendly. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy

Ann-Marie and Ben did a fantastic job, making us and our puppy feel super welcome. They pulled out a dog bowl, blanket and treats for our dog, and gave her lots of love and attention.

Lovely visit. We didn’t book but was accommodated immediately. The kids given balloons to entertain themselves. We ordered the incorrect meal on the app and it was exchanged immediately with no extra charge and no fuss and wouldn’t let me pay for it. All staff have been excellent, welcoming and just generally excellent customer service. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back when in the area

The pub is nice and clean and the staff are always helpful. Music choice is always good! Only downside this visit is the food took a while to come out on a quiet tuesday night, however the food was lovely. Also Ben was amazing. Great customer service.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as always the facilities were spotless and welcoming and the food was exquisite.

I've been here a few times previously and have always enjoyed the food and service at the Fox Cub. There are things changing like the new daily offers like their Friday offers on Birra Moretti, their 'burn the bill's Wednesdays where you are entered into a draw to win back your bill amount on your next visit, as well as having a pool table on site for the adults and a kids sitting area with built in TVs for the kids. Not to mention the outdoor sitting and little park.

The food is great! Their menu has all pub classics, carvery & other bits to choose from but there is always another menu on the table with other choices that are there for a limited time, always been very happy with the food and it comes out with great service. For example, I mistakenly asked for the wrong kids meal side dish and they brought both out without question. Just one example of how smooth their service is and how they are happy to make things how you want them.

In particular I'd like to thank Christine and Saffron for their great customer service!

I've put 5 stars on food and service but 4 on atmosphere as at no fault of their own, this place deserves to be busier!

Food was lovely as usual, especially the cheesy pepper potato! Very polite staff as always :)

We were invited by manager, Neil, to enjoy a meal and drink for myself and my partner as a gesture of goodwill and it did not disappoint! We ordered the ultimate southern fried chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were very attentive, especially Ben. The manager, Neil, has had excellent communication and has been incredibly kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely meal and experience. This is next level customer service, so thank you Neil. Do not hesitate to book into the Fox Cub!

Called in for lunch it was quiet we sat inside even though it was a beautiful sunny day, we got served with drinks immediately and we decided what to eat, I had my favourite mac n cheese the other half had chicken burger and fries served by the lovely Jack both meals were delicious, we had no room for dessert so we opted to take home some amazing carrot cake to have later. Thank you

Outstanding customer service, amazing food, great prices! What more can I say? My wife and I visited for an evening meal, and couldn't of been happier! The food was cooked to perfection, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Will definatly be visiting again!

Had a great few hours here tonight for a bite to eat, couple of pints and a few games of pool. Served by Ben who was fantastic and the Mega mixed grill was really nice! We will definitely be returning. Thanks guys!

What a hidden gem of a pub, was needing an enviroment to have a business meeting, with food and drinks, an what a hidden gem.

So welcoming as soon as we arrived, sharron and christine behind the bar and everywhere between with the flow of pub were amazing. Food was spot on too went for some nibble plates. Cauliflower wings something else !!!
