Wickes Bracknell

I waited 5 minutes for the shower water to turn on yet it never did, must be a problem with the pipes. I tried on what I thought was a 'mask' but soon realised the reason I couldn't see through it was because it was a knee pad. I stuck one of the plungers to the floor to test the 'suction' yet pulled it up extremely easily so I don't think it would work to well for a clogged toilet. Overall I had a great experience and the staff were lovely.

A large store with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Good shop, easy to park at. Easy to find what I'm looking for. Got lots of paint and testers. Lots of flooring to choose from and show rooms. Open on weekends. Always a pleasant experience.

Bracknell is a large store and is as good as any! The Car park needs a good and regular sweeping though, screws and debris are commonplace....not good for tyres....
I have made many good purchases at this store with no issues and we use it a lot.

I had a great young man serve me today in Wickes his name was Josh. He was very polite when he served me, and even carried my bag of post fix to my car and loaded it for me. You will go a long way in life young man. Thank you for helping an old man .

A good range of DIY and tradesman tools and materials and good prices.

Ordered some timber from website. Received a phone call a few days later from a loverly lady telling me they only had 19 of the 20 pieces I ordered. She very kindly matched a similar piece of timber to what I had ordered and the order arrived on time.

Delivery driver neatly stacked everything in my garage ready for me to get to work.

Very impressed by the way everything from start to finish was dealt with.

Handling the Coronavirus situation really well, there are queues to get in but this can be expected as they're carrying out all the necessary safety precautions. Once in store there is more than enough room to distant yourself from others, more than enough stock and the click and collect service is carried out very well.

Always a 'go to' destination for anything to do with home improvement. This store is as large as any other one they have and it is certainly well stocked with things reasonably priced.

Having moved into a house with every revolting colour of the rainbow on the walls, I bit the bullet and bought some Wicks own brand 215 grey emulsion. Absolutely amazed how well it covered. It was as good as any premium brand. However, I had to return their one coat pure brilliant white gloss as it was more cream colour than white and was certainly not 1 coat. Plus, it still wasn't dry after 3 days. Full refund given and was told it was old stock that had probably not been mixed correctly in the factory. Still 5 stars simply for their emulsion

Very good range of timber, tiles, tools, large items that you can't find at Toolstation or Screwfix. Packed with tradesmen, which is a sign of quality goods. It's where the trade shop.

New Kitchen 2019
We had a New Kitchen installed by Wicks in October 2019 we used their recommended Installation team to do the fit.
We are extremely happy with our New Kitchen and very satisfied with the entire process from designing and ordering it with Max in Bracknell Homebase, right through to the fitting and completion including the removal of an internal wall and larder cupboard.
The workmen were very careful not to cause much mess, they were very knowledgeable and both excellent craftsmen.
We had no problems at all, it all went very smoothly and it looks absolutely amazing. We also used Wicks to do our Bathroom in 2011 which went equally as well.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Wicks should you be looking to have a New Kitchen or Bathroom fitted.

We've now bought two kitchens from the Wickes design team in Bracknell, and have recommended them to all our friends and family, as they can't be beaten on the price and service as whole; Wickes wasn't the first place we went to! Having dealt with both Max and Sadie, I can't fault the time and care they both spent on our designs, and even though our second utility kitchen wasn't of great value, we weren't made to feel like it was of any less importance! The aftercare has also been amazing, having unfortunately received damaged panels, and this was sorted incredibly quickly after speaking to the in-store team. We'll certainly be back in-store when the need arises :)

Had a bathroom designed by Max and the transformation is unbelievable! Never thought our bathroom would look so good. Had it done 2 years ago now and as happy now as I was when it was installed. Top job.

I would highly recommend the team at Wickes, especially Rosa in the kitchen design department, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us and kept in contact through the whole thing. She made what we thought would be a stressful experience, easy and enjoyable. If you are thinking of getting your kitchen done, go to Wickes and ask for Rosa!!

As a trade customer I have always found the store to be extremely good great selection of products good stock with very good customer service. We find that this store is very good for both trade and personal items and have always received great advice and courteous helpful friendly service from the wicks team

Great store, friendly staff and they don't mind if you have to saw up a load of chipboard in the car park to get it into the boot (I recommend using the bike stands as a sawing trestle!!).
