Heidi’s Cafe

The middle priced of the 17 accommodations I booked for the C2C. Situated right in the middle of lovely Grasmere. No reception or host, just a PIN check in. Our loft room was large and beautifully decorated. The double bed was big with lovely new clean bed linen and a very comfy mattress – we had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was big with a tremendous walk-in waterfall shower. The full-fried – served in the attached café – was very good. A good price for a excellent accommodation.

Very pretty, dog friendly, cafe. We ordered coffees and sandwiches with salad on the side. Food came quickly and were delicious, and very good value for money.

What a Lovely place! The staff are just 10/10 🧑‍🍳 💋! The food was really tasty & hearty, the portion sizes were perfect. Having somewhere you can bring your dog and just chill, is perfect there aren’t many places like this in London. I will 100% return here every time I come to the Lake District. Such a great atmosphere, I could imagine it’s a lovely place to work too.

A lovely cafe in Grasmere which is extremely dog friendly to the point were they had towels for wet dogs and fresh water bowls. Treats also given to the dogs too!! Food was also delicious, we enjoyed the soup of the day, breakfast baps and yorkshire pudding wrap!! We would definitely recommend and visit in the future 👍

An absolutely wonderful stay! Prime location, warm and comfortable rooms, huge and delicious breakfasts, all delivered by the loveliest team. Outstanding value for the service provided. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Lovely dog friendly cafe in Grasmere. We didn't eat there but the food looked good. The coffee was delicious

Booked our stay for Nov 2023 as a birthday surprise for my partner. Emma is extremely pleasant and helpful, she arranged everything for our stay and even recommended a few places to eat in the evening. Room is beautifully decorated, and the balcony is a real bonus. A home from home. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, we were very well looked after! Thank you Emma and the team for such a memorable stay! We didn't want to come home, will be back very soon!

Dog friendly cafe, warm and cosy. Had full English breakfast, very tasty. It's a little pricey but puts some of the other cafes in Grassmere in the shade

Brilliant place to stay in the heart of Grasmere. The room was beautiful and very clean. The coffee and breakfast were absolutely wonderful, the best coffee I've had.

Only stopped 1 night for my wife birthday, lovely room's, staff and the breakfast was huge filled me up for the day. Highly recommended it as a place to stay.

Stumbled across Heidi's by chance but really glad we did, dog friendly, the proprietor and staff were very friendly and accommodating, the quality and presentation of the food was excellent all set in a very relaxed atmosphere, no one is in a rush although the staff frequently apologised for the delay in service, that said it didn't seem anyone was bothered; we certainly weren't, everything is cooked fresh and well worth the short delay, highly recommended.

Have to give a mention to this gorgeous cafe we stumbled across on our visit to Grasmere. Didn't know where to eat and took a chance but so glad we did. The service was fantastic and the owner so friendly. Great value for money compared to most places in The Lakes with good, hearty portions which is what's needed after a hike up the hills! They also catered for Vegans which is hard to find. The food was piping hot and delicious! Lovely works of art inside to either admire or purchase. Great all round cafe! Will definitely go back!! 💚🌿

Perfect little cafe with a great menu and fantastic staff. Felt extremely friendly and we were well looked after. Reasonable prices considering portion size and ideal location. Tomato and roast pepper soup with crispy onions on top was to die for!

Just had a cracking breakfast great how it's dog friendly and surprisingly cheap considering prices are about to rise in the UK due to BREXIT 👍

You won't find a better host in Grasmere. Fab location. Lovely food. Rooms are warm and cosy and some have handy views / balcony / terrace.
