Great to have another food shopping option in Royston! To be honest, I didn't even realise they were open yet until chatting to someone in a local takeaway: I'd not previously seen any adverts for staff or 'grand opening' messages.

I've now visited and was impressed. Clearly it's only just opened, but it's clean and bright inside, with a logical layout and the usual high-quality M&S produce. There was a large display of fresh flowers, but maybe this is just because Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

I visited in the evening - about 7.30pm - and there were a number of other customers present, but not 'busy'; it's early days yet though.

I do wonder if parking will be an issue, especially once the Aldi next door opens. We'll have to see.

Overall: good to have you in Royston, M&S!

This is an out of the way M&S, very clean and has a sense of newness. The products are displayed well so it is easy to find your chosen products. Staff were friendly and courteous. The only negative side is the price, otherwise the quality is superb.

This M&S is small, but the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I always opt to click and collect anything I buy from M&S on line and this is my preferred store to collect from.
Despite their small size they still have a great selection of food in all departments.
The store is always clean, tidy. And well laid out. The only thing that lets it down is the chaotic car park - but that is not M&S fault - it’s a shared park with Aldi, and is just poorly designed.

A great addition to royston providing an additional place to shop. M&S is directly next to Aldi and has a fair amount of parking directly outside.

While driving you can get to M&S either via orchard road if you're already in royston. Or exit on the slip road off the A505 if driving south towards London.

M&S food hall is a little bit small however does provide a decent amount of food/wine options and has a small fresh bakery option at the back of the hall.

There is also a pick up option here, so all online orders that they don't sell in-store, such as clothing items can be picked up in store at the customer service desk.

Not a huge store but just the right size to be able to get your weekly shopping. Can normally get everything I want with only occasionally something not available. Dates could be slightly longer but they have good turnover of products so can usually get things to last through the week. Staff are always pleasant, smiling and helpful. Two ladies in particular Katie and Kelly always recognise me and my husband and always ask how we are. They always help if we can't find something (sometimes the store change things around) and are always jolly. It is a pleasant experience shopping at this store and we would not shop anywhere else for our weekly shopping.

Good quality food, varied choice of single portion ready meals, excellent fresh bread counter and overall customer service. Great they offer to open up extra tills if queue forming or if you ask them.

M&S has been a great addition to the Royston shopping scene. The staff are always polite and helpful and they have some of the best bread and beer in town. I never thought I could be upgraded to a M&S shopper but I was wrong and so were all the doubters.

I'm not really a shopper but when it comes to food M&S is one of my favourites. Having this new store relatively local is a great bonus. The store is of a good size and stocks all the usual M&S products but because it's bigger than the one at Hertford you have more chance of finding what you want in stock. Sitting next to an Aldi is also a bonus. The only downside is the parking. The car park layout is a bit crazy with drivers often going the wrong way round.

We ordered the food for our wedding and they couldn't gave been more efficient. Freddie helped us take to the car and was so kind and friendly. The food was great too!

This M&S food store is ideal for us. It is not a huge store, but it certainly has what we need. The staff are really friendly (what a joy!) and helpful. Which is probably why we keep going back 👍

Excellent staff and excellent food

Parking is great, so is service and the interior is nice! The staff are very friendly. And the food and ready meals are lovely! But a bit on the pricey side!!

Good measures taken to ensure customers can use the hand sanitizer and clearly marked floor arrows to indicate flow. Produce as normal of excellent quality and professional staff.

Good standard M and S. Basically M and S do good food, with fruit and veg as good as you can get in the UK.

More expensive than Aldi next door but better quality.

A bit difficult to find first time, but good parking, well stocked clean bright store, not too big and overwhelming. Staff have always been helpful and friendly.

Car park half empty, no queue, disinfected trolleys, some lovely plants outside, I grabbed a potted rose, shelves full inside, only 2 people wearing face coverings, easy to get round quickly and safely.

Good range of m&s fruit & veg, fresh ready meals, drink and bakery sections. Rarely busy enough to have to queue for long

A Great Little M&S, never had a problem parking and a great selection of products.
Plenty of self service tills.

A member of staff gave my wife a lanyard to wear as she is a asthma sufferer which was kind and much appreciated Thank You. Royston M&S food hall.
