Tisanes Tea Rooms

Got the 'cream tea', which features tea and scones. For those from the US, you may find that the British scone is similar to the Southern tea biscuit. Absolutely warm, soft, and fluffy. Have to try it. Staff warm and friendly. Interiors and vibe are also great!

Had a lovely breakfast while on holiday with my wife. We sat in the back garden under a tree and felt as if we were in a secret garden. The full English breakfast was well cooked and delicious, as were the cream teas we shared. Tisanes also makes a delicious flat white. We had been here previously (in 2017) and had such a memorable experience, we could not wait to return this trip. Highly recommended.

I had full afternoon tea here. Staffs were friendly and kind. I felt welcomed by them. The scorns and cucumber sandwiches were the best so I can't forget the taste of them. I highly recommend you to visit here.

Scones were fluffy and sandiwiches were so fresh and tasty. Liked the coronation chicken and victorian fruit cake.
Must go if you are around northen side of cotswold.

Once upon a time there was an American who had a dream of a charming afternoon tea in a charming village in the Cotswolds. But things were not working out well- she kept not being near tea shops during tea time due to getting distracted by touring all the lovely villages. Finally, in her very last day, it do or die! But it was pouring rain and of course *all* the tourists wanted to go inside and have tea too! Wait times were long and uncertain, and involved just standing in the cold rain waiting pathetically. Thank heavens for the kind ladies of Tisanes! They offered to come get her while she waited under the cover of a nearby awning. The experience was all she had hoped for! Delicious sandwiches, fluffy scones, delightful cakes and flavorful teas. It was English countryside afternoon tea perfection!

Great tea room with table service from really friendly & helpful staff. The leaf tea is very nice & there's plenty of fresh food as well at reasonable prices.

While small it's certainly not cramped & the seating is comfortable. There's a good sized garden as well which is really nice to sit in on a sunny day.

My favourite tea room in Broadway, I always come here when I visit the town. Good selection of reasonably priced light lunches and I always struggle to decide which dessert to have as I love most of the options. My faves are probably lemon meringue pie, Victoria sponge and the delicious apple pie. Staff always pleasant and polite too. Can’t recommend enough and hope to visit again soon.

Busy but service was fast and friendly.
Food was good.

As a group of 12 rain-soaked walkers + a dog, we were so appreciative of the welcoming and friendly service that we received on Saturday afternoon. We all enjoyed our tea, cake and scones (+ dog biscuit). The front of house and cooking team thoroughly deserve a five star rating.

I wish I had taken some photos and sorry I didn’t as I was super impressed with everything here.
The staff were lovely, attentive and ensured all was well with our order which came out quickly.
We sat out the back in a nice courtyard with plenty of space between tables and large umbrellas.
The food was great, BLT, a large sandwich along with a nice cappuccino.

Outside area was nice and relaxed; with the added bonus of super weather on the day. Tisanes is amongst a small number of places in Broadway we choose; because of our previous good experiences in each of those places.

Staff superb, offered dogs a treat two, menu brilliant would like to see a veggie or vegan choice. Vast range of beverages I loved spice Chai

Relaxing tea rooms situated in a very picturesque town. We enjoyed an excellent and very tasty lunch - a homemade quiche with salad and a ham ploughmans - outside in a garden setting. They also have an excellent range of cakes and offer cream and afternoon teas. Service is excellent.

Had afternoon tea here a couple of weeks ago and was lovely. The staff were so helpful and even made sure we had a larger table for afternoon tea. Lovely service and food. Will definitely return next time we have the pleasure of going to Broadway.

Called in on the Sunday August Bank Holiday weekend. We both had the afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. On par with Betty’s.
Dog friendly too.

Popped in here this afternoon with my long-suffering wife.

Absolutely delicious afternoon tea. I had cheese and pickle sandwiches and coronation chicken sandwiches. My wife had cheese and tomato sandwiches. We both had the delicious scones with jam and fabulous cream. My wife had the lemon drizzle cake and I had the Victorian style fruitcake. All of the food was very high quality and totally delicious. The establishment was also very clean and the staff were very proactive and polite.

Cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough. Get your arses in here and support this local business. It is brilliant. My wife and I will definitely be back if we visit this area again.

Due to the place being very busy we waited for a table for 4 of us we didn’t wait long we sat in the lovely Tea garden. There was a great choice of teas from around the world. We also enjoyed snacks from the menu and top ups of hot water for more tea which was served in a teapot with a tea strainer. As we enjoyed it we decided on dessert’s some homemade. Will definitely visit again as the staff were polite and friendly.

We ended up here after a long day walking in the Cotswolds, and couldn't have ended up in a better place. Lovely outdoor seating, friendly staff, nice ambience. We had scones with jam and cream (cream tea) which was lovely. Can't wait to revisit one day!
