I’ve been coming to Dormy for years. I enjoy using one of the front living rooms with a log fire and one of the Sunday newspapers.
This is the first time bringing my dog and she was so well looked after by the wonderful staff.
They immediately welcomed her, provided water, snacks and lots of cuddles.
The fire was always added to, the staff were up for a chat and we stayed for about 3 hours relaxing without being rushed.
The perfect place to chill in the countryside.

We did a spa day at Dormy House, and it was such a treat! It was like a warm hug this winter! The outdoor hot tub, with the fire was stunning. The facilities and treatments were top-notch and we felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. Big thanks to Bobby and Fiona at the Spa for looking after us! Dinner at the Back Garden restaurant was utterly delicious. Marius, looked after us so well at the restaurant. And Alex from the bar made the most delicious margaritas we’ve had! Highly recommended!

A lovely afternoon tea!
We booked this as a 90th Birthday treat and the afternoon was perfect! The afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully displayed, great atmosphere and really good service!
We are really pleased and already thinking of booking again!

Took my mother here for a spa day, Hannah served us throughout our stay for the day, she couldn't do more for us, very friendly and acknowledgable. Did comment on rooms as never stayed as we live local. But have used the restaurant which the food is fabulous.

Amazing short break. Staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, nothing was a problem and everything done with a smile.

Great breakfast with complimentary bloody Mary station.

Spa facilities were brilliant, loved the out door hot tub.

Electric car charging on site with 4 chargers available. My cable didn't work too well with them as connectors a bit short but no problem as they lent me their spare one.

Lovely cookies and gift bag when leaving. Can't wait to go back

A wonderful hotel with exceptional staff! Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay at Dormy House.

The Spa was very clean and the staggered entry times meant that it never felt too crowded. The only downside was that there was no availability for treatments during our stay. I had tried to book a few weeks in advance but I had no luck getting through to anyone via telephone. There was also a gym on site which had excellent equipment.

The dining options were lovely, including the breakfast where there was a wide variety of dishes on the menu which were all clearly very fresh.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dormy House!

We really enjoyed our Afternoon Tea here. It was £80 (£90 with service charge) for what is pictured plus a piece of Sausage Roll each and 2 Scones each. We were full by the end of it and didn’t finish our scones. The only thing we didn’t like was the chocolate orange cake as it was very dry. The Hoogly tea pots and timers we enjoyed so much we’ve ordered some ourselves!

I called in at Dormy House to ask about organising a celebratory experience for when my partner hopefully became my fiance. I couldn't have been helped more! I met Chris, the hotel manager, and was welcomed with warmth and friendliness. With the help of him and his team I was treated to a fantastic night and following day of attentive service and truly wonderful surroundings. Open fires, comfortable furniture, stylish and sophisticated décor, and a beautiful spa.
I would enthusiastically recommend Dormy House to anyone who wanted a treat. From a cosy fireside drink, to a memorable stay in this beautiful hotel.
I'll certainly be returning!!

Visited the MO restaurant one evening for an indulgent tasting menu experience and had a really enjoyable evening. Yes, it is an expensive experience at £130 per person (and an additional £85 per person if you do the wine flight) as well as £4.50 per bottle of water. They also get you to arrive at 7:30pm for a drink in the hotel entrance beforehand (which isn’t included in the price) and don’t actually take you through to the restaurant until 8pm. But once you are in there, it is a glorious experience with impeccable food and top service.
The star of the show for many diners was the lamb dish, but my personal favourite was the scallop. The menu changes regularly though, so could be different choices when you visit.
Overall, if you’re willing to spend a lot of money on a lovely dining experience, then this is perfect for you, especially if celebrating something.

We booked one night here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and were blown away by the impeccable customer service and attention to style and R&R detail in the whole place.

As soon as we drove in, we were greeted by the lovely Adrian, the front of house host who met us in the car park and arranged for our luggage to be taken to our room.

The ‘intimate’ room was gorgeously decorated with such lovely luxury touches, from a handwritten welcome note to the birthday chocolates waiting for us in the room, it was such an amazing time - from arrival to departure.

Outside the room there was a little fridge that contained cans (yes, cans) of filtered water so you could help yourself.

The coffee machine in the room made the nicest coffee and the fridge also had these cute bottles of milk that you could also help yourself up whenever you want.

The toiletries in the room were the best spa toiletries I’ve ever used - really luxurious and thoughtfully presented.

The bed was so massive and so very comfortable it was hard to get out of it the next morning!

But, we managed, and even got to use the well equipped gym - that was such a fantastic way to start our second day.

The spa itself was utterly gorgeous, very spacious and extremely well designed. The whole place was immaculate and so beautifully stylish. The spa has everything you need for total relaxation - a hot salt steam room, lavender steam room, large sauna, hot tub outside, and beautiful infinity swimming pool with a floatation tank room, which we really loved using.

Oh, and breakfast was absolutely incredible - we had Dippy eggs and American style fluffy pancakes, and there was even a Bloody Mary station at breakfast, which made me giggle.

On check out, we were handed a gorgeous gift bag with double chocolate cookies and cans of filtered water for our journey home.

We will definitely be visiting again, it was a perfect 2 days for total rest, revitalisation and luxury.

Took my long-suffering wife here for a surprise birthday getaway. My wife said that she loved this hotel and it’s relaxing calming atmosphere. All the staff are so approachable, friendly, proactive and hard-working. The cleaner of my room, even folded my clothes for me and put them back on the bedside table. Amazing service. The food in this hotel is also of extremely high quality. My wife and I are very fussy eaters and would not recommend this hotels food if it wasn’t of an exceptional standard. Special mention to Josh, Joe, Daniel, Bella and Sam. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. My wife said it is worth going to this hotel just for the wave touch massage bed Unfortunately we cannot afford one of these massage waterbeds for our house LOL or else my wife would have one. The spa area is also extremely relaxing and I really enjoyed the lavender scented sauna. They also do a delicious Bailey’s floater coffee which was a luxurious treat after a delectable evening birthday celebration meal. My wife and I also appreciated the fact that they have a vegetable garden growing area at the rear of the hotel. Something you see every day at a hotel. This hotel is like arriving at one big comfortable living room that gives you a hug every day. My wife and I will definitely be going back. finally, I think it is also important to mention that my wife and I are fortunate enough to visit to various hotels and spas within Wales and England on an annual basis. This case has lots of experience with regards to comparing venues service and different qualities of experiences et cetera. this hotel is by far one of the best we have stayed at whether it be England or Wales.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Dormy House. The staff were so considerate, friendly & welcoming from the moment we arrived to the check out.

We booked the lazy lunch stay in an intimate room. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed & comfortable.

The spa is fantastic, we had lovely massage treatments & booked some time to enjoy the swimming pool, sauna & steam rooms. There’s nothing quite like settling into the hot tub on a cold winter’s evening!

There’s plenty to do in the area, the team gave us some recommendations for places to eat & detailed guides to local walks.

If you’re looking for somewhere really special to stay, I don’t think you’ll find anywhere better.

Loved it. Had a great 4 night solo rest / work (mostly rest) stay away from home. The staff are, in particular, very professional and friendly. High end hotel without the pretense. Recommended!

I stayed here a few months back just after Christmas. And this place honestly does wonders for the mind. I was served by a young lovely lady called Mia and she really does go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing time. She was really friendly and had a lot of patience too. And it’s very rare I experience positive vibes from hotel staff. I would definitely recommend anyone staying here you won’t regret.
