Russell's Fish & Chips

Called in today while visiting Broadway and fell quite lucky that a table for four was available and ready to go. The menu was nice and small but with a good selection of items. Between us we had the cod and chips, halloumi and chicken bites all of which were cooked to perfection. We had a selection of soft and hot drinks including a latte and an oat milk cappuccino which were spot on. It was a really nice little restaurant and well worth a visit if in the area.

Great food for a family of 12.

Minted peas much nicer than normal mushy peas!

Was a missed meal but they rectified the issue. (Mistakes happen, how they are handled is the true mark of customer service)

Enjoyed a chippy supper after looking at the Christmas lights. Chips very fresh and tasty. £2.50 for a box per person. Loads, so good value. Seating inside was packed and there was a warm and friendly atmosphere in the place. The food being served looked lovely. Staff doing a great job in a busy environment. Will go back for full fish and chips when less busy.

Only quibble would be price as looking at £15pp but everything in Broadway is expensive.

We did not stay in the rooms bit. This a must for excellent fish and chips with absolutely wonderful service! The best I have ever had and I have been searching for a great fish and chips for many years.

A wonderful place for a very tasty fish and chips. Warm welcome, great service, and a very reasonable price. Vegetarian options are offered, too.

Convenient Central Location in Broadway, good parking and accessibility.
Freshly prepared, tasty and wholesome food.
Great to eat on the premises, in a well presented restaurant or great to eat on the hoof....
Good professional service from the young members of staff...

Came here for my grandads birthday, it's his favourite chippy. The staff were lovely, and as was the food, although a few of us found it a little greasy (that's what you get for battered fish). There was loads on the plate that I just couldn't finish but it was delicious.

Loved this place! We got a really friendly welcome when we walked in and asked if it was ok to bring a pram with us. We were seated and offered a high chair by the friendly team. The Fish & Chips was amongst the best I’ve had. Everything on the plate was delicious. This is a busy restaurant in quite a small place where tables turn quickly but you don’t feel rushed. Visited 8th April 2023 and the food good portions and friendly staff Incredibly accommodating as I’m in a mobility scooter. Not a vegan but there are vegan options. Best fish & chips we’ve had. Recommended for lunch or dinner. They do take away but we dined in.

We stopped off for lunch on a Tuesday and their staff were really accommodating, Dylan especially was lovely and helped move some chairs so we could get our pram in. Dog friendly as well which was great! Food was good, the battered cod was definitely the winning dish, very light and delicious batter. The chips were a little undercooked but overall tasty. Food came out extremely quickly, within a few minutes of us sitting down. Staff all really lovely!

Wow! What a stunning fish and chip restaurant! We had absolutely delicious food! All of us enjoyed our meals thoroughly.
My 5yo had the mini cod and chips. It was such a big portion! He actually landed up finishing the fish and nibbling on a few chips. My mom had the grilled plaice which was melt in the mouth. And my husband and I shared the beer battered cod and the trio platter starter. Both were delicious! You know it’s fancy when it comes with truffle aioli 😜 (that was the trio starter). Service was friendly. Food was delicious! 10/10.

It was an amazing amazing location with a great atmosphere an amazing place to sit down with your friends and family to eat. The staff was really friendly and help us with any questions we had. The food was truly amazing one of the best fish and chips in the area.

Really lovely cod and chips, we are always wary of trying fish and chips when travelling around the UK as we are spoiled where we live in the North but this was enjoyable, it’s expensive, but expected it to be more given prices everywhere, it was tasty and good sized portion, give it a try!

Nice fish and chip restaurant in Broadway. Home made crushed minted peas, including onions a nice change from the bog standard mushy peas. Curry sauce homemade too as was the tartar sauce. Fast friendly service, good selection of soft drinks...tables outside under umbrella's. Reasonably priced compared to many other Broadway eateries which are very inflated!

Excellent fish and chips that tasted great, especially the tartare, which was superb! Lovely staff. Best chippy in Broadway.

They were very quick to seat us and take our order and give us our food. The portion is very big I am glad that I decided to only order one and share! We ordered the beer battered cod which came with homemade tartar sauce, mushy peas and chips. We were so hungry that I didn't wait to take a picture first. It was very tasty even the tartar sauce was sooo good!

We had a party at Russell’s on Saturday evening and I could not recommend this place, the food and the team highly enough.
The fish and chips went down well with our party- portion sizes were huge and everything was so delicious! Jethro and his team couldn’t have done more to make us feel at ease and to ensure the evening went well. We had a fantastic time - thank you for everything.
