Especially useful if you need to purchase an adaptor or charging cable for a mobile device, though it stocks a fairly wide range of food, toiletries a nd other essential items as well as gifts, newspapers and magazines at reasonable prices. Small selection of undergarments and socks in addition to baby clothes also available.

NOTHING much coeliac Friendly. Used to have a choice of 2 sandwiches and a wrap at lunch times or one of The 2 John West tuna meals that are Gluten free. they have had NOTHING for many months now. Fruit, Crisps and maybe a biscuit are about it. as a Coeliac who also reacts to avenin in oats most of The potentially gluten Free stuff and marketed as GF contains oats so Will also make me ill. This hospital has a large Allergy and gastroenterology Service it really ought to do better. Only getting 1 star becauseyou can't score ZERO

Appalling experience at this shop when I was in the RVI for 4 weeks. I am a subscriber to the Times Newspaper were I get the paper and the Sunday Times on a voucher scheme much cheaper than the face value

The shop refused to accept it as they were card only. When I challenged it I was told it was "because we're handling your voucher like we'd handle cash"

Same till lady who had just before me, taken a lottery slip off a customer and sold her a lottery ticket, she handled the lottery slip ok but wouldn't accept my voucher. It was lonely enough being in the RVI for 4 weeks without not being able to get your daily paper you subscribe to and I was on the infectious diseases unit and so unable to leave the building

Appalling inflexible service to patients. They could easily have accepted it - it was for full face value with no change required. If they couldn't handle any paper from me, why did they pick up my Times to scan in the first place and hand it back.

The Times newspaper group refunded my subscription for 6 weeks because of these jobsworths
