The father and son team who run this are very knowledgable and super helpful. Went in on a Sunday and they sorted my vechicle issue and had a great range of stock. Good old fashioned service at a reasonable price.

Had a headlight blow and a long journey ahead was told by a family member to call in as they have always found them very helpful. They had the headlight bulb in stock and I asked if they could fit it as my hands are too big to get to the holder. Great service by the owner he was soon to follow me to my car and changed the bulb and had a grateful and appreciative motorist back on the road to Cumbria in no time at all.

Outstanding service yet again from boldon motor shop today. Tailgate struts ordered at 9.00 delivered and even fitted for me at no extra cost by 2.45! Unbelievable service by a genuinely nice guy.
And no I'm not related!

Excellent service. I needed a headlight bulb changed and Halfords were going to charge £9 just to fit one bulb plus £6.99 for the bulb. Seems a bit of a rip off so I went to Boldon auto shop and asked if they fitted headlight bulbs and he kindly had a look and it took him less than 30 seconds to remove it and the same to replace it and for a total price of just £5.00 yes £5 all in, that's for the bulb and including the fitting.
You can not possibly get a better service than that. I couldn't just give him the £5 so gave him £10 for which he was ever so grateful and I still saved £6 by not going to Halfords.
Halfords should be ashamed of themselves charging £9 for a less than a minute service.
So hats off to Boldon auto shop and thank you very very much. 😄

Got everything you could ever need

The owner is super friendly and replaced the battery in my car in a very timely manner for less than I would have paid at something like Halfords.

Very helpful friendly guy, great price on a new car battery £69 compared to RAC who wanted £140+ The guy even fitted it for me no extra charge. Can't fault them, excellent friendly quick service

Very helpful and knowledgeable. A proper local shop prepared to go the extra mile to help.
Update: Back again and still top notch service.

If I could give it more stars I would… was having trouble with the car not starting, found out the problem was the car was in need of a new battery.. the AA guy how told me said he could sell me a new battery… for £125… came here and got it for £46.. the guy even came out and had a look to make sure it was the right one before he sold it to me, then asked if I wanted him to fit it, and didn’t even charge.. it’s little things like this that would make you want to come back again and again.. and if he doesn’t have he’ll try and order it. It may only be a small shop but come here and you won’t be disappointed.
