I went into the shop at laygate on 18th January. I didn't buy anything but needed help with something and the staff went above and beyond what is expected of them, even if it was an inconvenience to them and their work. I'm not going to name the staff that helped me due to privacy reasons but they are the kindest most down to earth people I have ever met.

Leaving this review even though we didn't purchase anything. My brother had an epilepsy seizure in the store today, a young lady quickly saw us struggling to protect his head and asked us if we needed anything or help. She closed off the aisle to give us space and privacy even though this could short term impact their customers and sales, they saw the person in distress and put him above all else. We have never had this sort of support in a shop, it is refreshing to see. Once my brother was able to stand, they took us to a private area to allow him to recover in private. We didn't purchase any products due to the seizure and having to leave to take my brother to recover but the experience we got today, goes above and beyond in our eyes and deserves to be recognised and rewarded. The lady is not only a credit to your lidl store but society as a whole.

Friendly staff were happy to help and opened a till as soon as a queue developed I couldn't fault the service which is why I keep returning to do my shopping.

I was served by a lady called Shauna & got great service with a smile. Still great service & a well laid out store.

Good food at great prices, plus you never know what treasure you will find in the middle isle. Went in for curry paste and came out with a gel bike seat 🤣 £10 to stop the mrs moaning about her butt after 5 yards... Priceless 🤣

Great prices and selection.

Decent sized free 1 and a half parking. Cheap good value and quality nappies (1.74 for 44) and biodegradable baby wipes (60 for 60p). Nice sized shop with plenty choice.

Great Staff, products and prices. Parking is free, but watch out for the cameras. If you stay to long, you get a ticket. BIG Negative, as some people, either like to browse, some need extra time, due to health. ...etc

Cracking store, plenty on offer all week long. Great fresh vegetables and the fresh bread and rolls are spot on
