People love to complain so quickly but the store is here for everyone and I have never had any issues. Always nice and friendly staff. Post office is definitely very useful.

A wife range of choice for books of all genre.

I could honestly stay and just look at all the stuff that's being sold there for ages, in complete awe. Just wish I could afford to purchase everything and all I wanted. Not because it's expensive, it's not but I would need a train to move it all and a warehouse to store it in. However that's me a nut for anything stationary and hobby related.

How many diffwrent types of books, magazines, glue, tape, pens and brushes there are out there? What and how to chose, how to chose? That's the puzzling and tricky bit.

Well stocked large store, top floor is also Newcastle City Centre Post Office and Currency Exchange. Situated on popular busy pedestrian high street. Large aisles for disabled customers. Friendly co-operative staff.

Decent shop with good range of books, magazines, cards, boxes, pens and quite a bit more. In Newcasle the branch also has a Post Office. Decent snacks too!

This is the biggest WHSmith around and so it has a good range of goods. It has the usual stationary, accessories, books magazines etc but more choice than anywhere else. The Post Office is now housed on the 2nd floor.

Good amount of stationaries variety. Also, the post office on the 2nd floor have self services checkout to buy stamps, weight your parcel, etc.

Huge store with all your WHSmoth requirements. Has a Post Office inside will all facilities available. Used Post Office and staff are friendly and helpful. Sending my parcel was a breeze.

Great service lots of good books on everything you can think of. Games and stationery, staff are always helpful and friendly.

Normal good quality goods for w. h. Smith's, but upstairs it has a first class main post office with all amenities. downstairs at the checkouts if u r not in a hurry, don't use the self checkouts, use a staff checkout & u will receive 6 various vouchers for £3 plus value each at Macdonalds. You will pay £1=99 for each voucher when you purchase food

Self service post office machines are very handy, and usually you can pick up some decent deals on stationary

Our search for CD Jewel cases reached fruition at WH Smith in Northumberland Street. Full marks to them for bringing an exhausting morning's shopping expedition to a triumphant close. With the closure of so many traditional record shops on Britain's high street due, we are told, to the availability of other ways of accessing music, it is reassuring to know that this long established outlet still caters for oldies like us who regard CDs as a recent innovation. I even saw a Beatles LP from1963 on sale here!. Is there still hope for the world?.

It's WHSmith's they have it all stationery wise, they have post office upstairs and not a lot of people know this but they sell stamps at the tills down stairs so you don't have to drag your ass upstairs?

Good shop on two floors with the latest art accessories in stock. Staff helpful and well informed on the vast range they stock
