Tesco Extra

This is our local shop so may be I am biased, but it does everything a great Tesco does - well stocked and reasonably priced.

But today, I am writing this review mainly to say a huge thank you to Lauren who joined in 2023 as per her badge, she was so incredibly kind to my 2 year old who was very upset at the billing yesterday night. She calmed her down and allowed me to do the billing. It was amazing!

On the outskirts of Huntingdon Great place to get most of your shopping needs this Store is on two levels access via a lift or travelator to get your trolley to the upper floor upstairs has the clothing and homewares electrical DIY cards computer supplies ect ect with the lower floor has a pharmacy baker fishmonger butcher and hot food counter scan-n-shop available in this Store a independent cafe within tesco sells coffee and light snacks wheelchair accessible parking bays by the Store with p&c parking bays nearby. An on site car cleaning service operator independent of tesco can be found at the far end of the carpark and petrol station at the entrance exit point of the site..

The staff are always very helpful and polite.
There is a large range of products.

Tesco is always busy and the run up to Christmas was no different just more manic but it is what it is.
It's the time of year.

We went to Max Spielman photos in Tesco Huntingdon.
We had tried three places to get a photo put onto canvass. They said the photo was not good enough.
But at Max Spielman the two assistants could not be more helpful. Teresa and Anne did a magnificent job for us, We are very happy. Excellent service and amazing staff. They went out of their way to help us.

Good size Tesco Extra lots of products and good service

I buy diesel here everyday, the ladies are well under pressure,please leave them alone they are doing there best. If people stop buying diesel and petrol that will last them a couple of months then us delivery drivers will be able to deliver all of your goods.
It's annoying because as a driver I get blamed for not being on time or there at all.
Your ladies in the station are doing there best, and it's GREAT!! Thank you very much for looking after me xxxxxx

Shop here every week, we'll stocked

I dropped my toastie in the restaurant today and they put another one on without even asking me. Although my fault they were prepared to do this foc. I did pay. Well done restaurant staff. Lovely people and Tesco you should be proud of this team

Brilliant place for shopping and we are both disabled and staff working here very very helpful. Very clean place, clean toilets and parking spaces are close to Entrance. Brilliant though out thank you

Really handy having this so close. Lots of Tesco own brand items making their way into store now so the overall price is coming down

Nice big car park and the entry doors are automatic and on street level.

The travellator to the upper floor was broken but there is a customer lift at the back of the store if you have a trolley.

The upper level has a big clothes section as well as home goods.

On the ground level are the usual pharmacy, cigarette counter and the usual aisles of products.

Staff on the customer service desk were so kind when we missed our collection of our food order by a few minutes (totally our fault!). The lady behind customer services was kind and polite and helped us get our food when she could have just told us to come back tomorrow. What a great store and thanks so much for going the extra mile for us!

Always friendly and helpful. I have felt more confident in their Covid arrangements than in any other supermarket. They have kept as good a control as the law will allow! Good range of products - not just their own brand!

Good Parking, easy access. Close to other useful stores and fast food outlets

It's a big Tesco so you get what you'd expect. Nice additions are the barbers which I have found very good and the coffee shop which is staffed by really pleasant baristas who can make some decent coffee for what is a supermarket café. No problems with parking but pedestrian access could be better for this whole area, I hate crossing the roundabouts nearby.

My wife and I shop here every week, all the staff are helpful and friendly

I was delighted with the display in the fruit and veg aisle which invites kids to have a free piece of fruit while their parents do their shopping, very simple gesture which made the difference to our visit today with our toddler!

My local Tesco’s and it’s an Extra, added bonus!
Normally have everything I need but if not Aldi and Lidl are only down the road.
Have disabled fix on trollies so handy when in the wheelchair, maybe because I am a regular here and collect my prescriptions at the chemist most staff are helpful and reach the top shelves if needed.

I was surprised it had prime. I've been looking everywhere and I believed Tesco would have the drink I've been looking for!
