Asda Sunderland Portsmouth Road Supermarket

Lovely friendly staff, always a pleasure to pick up orders from here. The girls do a great job juggling the online orders and the in-store customers. When I do my personal shopping here, the service is also top notch.

A nice little local store. Yet there is always a good chose. It's not a shop I go to too often as it too far away from home. But the chose is always very good for a very small store staff very helpfull...

Not a very big store, handy for popping in for things. It sells fresh roasted chickens, bacin sausage buns. Has bakery items but no longer made instore. Few electrical and household items. They have just changed the store, now you have to open chilled cabinets to access meats, dairy products. Etc. Which is really awkward for people like me that uses a mobility scooter. Nit always, a member of staff available to help. But members of the public are always, willing. Some members of the, staff in this, store, are so miserable. Its a relief to get out of the shop. The looks you get when you ask for help. While most of them are so friendly.

Every member of staff is friendly in there. They have also started doing olio which helps reduce food waste. Top shop

A brilliant smaller version of the typical big Asda you find. May look small once you're in but it has everything you need for a weekly shop. If you go in at the right time, you get decent discounted items too.

Great shop just around the corner from where I work. Always seems well stocked and they usually have offers. Well worth a visit if you need something.

Place is like a tardas looks really small from the outside but big inside.

Its the closest for me as I have many medical problems I use the self service in there plus there are a chemist and Iceland charity shop and a taxi rank and a Chinese however the butcher shop and Post office and the fish shop are now closed sad huh oh and there is an arcade with a lovely I little cafe in there to the owners are brilliant and friendly food is sooo yummy take a trip xx

Got everything you would expect from a supermarket like Asda. Not easy to get to if using public transport. There are buses that run to the store but not frequent. Quite large inside with a cafe and George outlet on the upper level. Also there are public toilets which are kept clean regularly. I have found the staff are very helpful and keen to assist. There is also a petrol station on the same site.

Had quite a lot of individual items would have taken quite a while to put through 80+ ,assistant opened the till when only self service was operating she chatted all through the sale ,very pleasant experience, would recommend.

I always have and always will shop at Asda because it's a warm welcoming cheerful place with every top brand from food to every household accessories right though to top cloathing and pro car accessories , and did I mention the check out staff are always cheerful and always full of help , 😊
