This was simply the worst interaction of my entire life bar none. If you need to divert a DHL parcel, don't send it here! He does not want you to send it there, just stay like the good old days, a humble fags, mags, and booze corner shop. Clearly carefully logging the parcels with the driver is far too much effort for this poor shopkeeper, otherwise my problem would not have occurred. He at first confused me with another disappointed customer. From start to finish, rude, obnoxious and obfuscative. DHL should cancel all association with this business and find another place to be their parcel drop off in central South Shields. 1 star is too many by a factor of -1m. He clearly wakes up and chooses violence everyday.

Store closes at 4pm on a Sunday, came in for 3:45 and guy was very rude and said to come back later as he wants to close early. A little bit of respect goes a long way and this guy has none.

He doesn't like mentos, don't throw them near the shop or else "police will be behind in 10 minutes".
Also try not to do parkour and land badly or you might end up almost giving an old woman a heart attack.

Most arrogant individual I have ever encountered, went in to use paypoint said not interested as he doesn't make any money on paypoint, doesn't he think if I use his paypoint I'm also going to buy other goods, having just moved into the area.

Do not go here ever.

Nominated as a collection point for a DHL parcel… This shop would not take the delivery with no explanation why and has now been returned to sender. Most unhelpful!
