Asda South Shields Superstore

Visited your cafe recently. The service was second to none. Julie and Lesley were absolutely lovely. Nothing too much bother. A credit to your store. The food was really good and great value for money.

Never had a bad thing to say and always been a preferred place to shop but you's may want to check your pringles. I bought what I believed to be the texas bbq one as claimed on the tube I bought and they're ready salted flavour 😅 not a complaint as I still ate. I can't say I'm disappointed either as it was rather funny 🤣

Today we went to the cafe and have to say the two ladies Julie and Lesley were so friendly and very helpful they are a credit to your store The food was lovely too

Fantastic customer serve from Christopher helped scan my shopping in while a customer was been seen to by medics I work for another supermarket and it’s lovely to see staff helping customers out well done to him

Been there for less than an hour and got a parking fee. Never paid for parking at an Asda before and it wasn't clear that I should pay on this particular one. Will strongly avoid, I felt robbed.

UPDATE: In fact I got a refund from Parking Eye (after a long long wait and strong insistence). After 6pm parking is free so I can go there eventually. Happy ending! :)

Great for free parking and extremely large store with just about every thing you could want

Started shopping at Asda after really bad customer service at Morrisons.
Staff very friendly and helpful, good supply of goods.
My only down side is there is not enough small trolleys, people always fighting for them. Today a lady helped me pack my car so she could have mine.
Not everyone does a big shop.
More small trolleys please.

The staff at this branch were so helpful and willing to take the time to answer any queries, during quiet and busy periods. Shopping at Asda was stress free, I felt so relaxed. I was able to find items I needed, as there are many varieties of groceries and prducts. The shopfloor is well organised and very clean. I will definitely continue to do my regular shopping with them. Thank you so much Asda.😃😃😃

Great store. Easily accessible, great parking. Sell just about everything you could want from a supermarket.
Staff really helpful, the phrase they use 'happy to help' really does apply.
Really good pricing wise.
Really relaxed atmosphere for the customer.
Certainly my go to store as far as supermarket shopping is concerned.

Handy supermarket on my doorstep.

Ample car parking. Mind you have to pay, although you get a refund if you spend £5 or more in store.

The shop is actually upstairs, above a car park, and is accessed via stairs, lift or travelator.

Quite a large selection and it’s open24hrs, except for Sunday.

I would just like to say the girls in the cafe upstairs are very friendly and always helpful and have been throughout the covid which was extremely hard for everyone, always smiling and helpful keep it up girls.
Julie, Jean, Lesley and Courtney can' t remember the rest of the girls names.

Love the new layout of the store. The George section is so much easier to get around with its wider aisles & bright lighting. The new Panko unit is good too. All in all worth the recent upheaval. Well done Asda.

Hey I just wanted to say the staff who work in your cafe are absolutely amazing. I was in yesterday and they couldn't be more friendly or helpful.

The "build your own" pizzas are amazing and fantastic value. I get one every time I'm across this side of the river. The staff that put them together for you are always friendly and helpful too.

The staff are great, very helpful and we are so grateful to them all for keeping the store open and stocked during this worrying time. They all deserve massive pay rises for all their hard work. Thank you.

Great place to shop. Really good disabled parking, wheelchair access and super helpful if you need any assistance. Lovely staff, great range and variety of stock. Caters for every customer.

Forgot to take my cash back from the self service checkout. returned and the lovely assistant had placed it in a safe place. Thank you very much excellent honest staff
