I’m a student and Came in today and asked for a few items and help with a lightbulb. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful. He told me how to change the fitting and gave me a demonstration and sorted me out with all the equipment I needed. Great customer service and very helpful friendly staff!

Really helpful gentleman, I had a few questions about moths and batteries for remote controls & he could help with all queries. He even fitted the new batteries & gave me some useful advice.

I live locally and have not used this shop before. However, had a great shopping experience today served by Mark.
I was a bit lost on what to buy, needed guidance on various paint products and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful.

This is a great independent hardware shop. I usually need advice on anything DIY ish, and I always get good help here. They always seem to have what I want too. Its strange, small shop, but huge stock. It is the Jesmond Tardis!

Very friendly helpful ship with a huge range of stock for a small shop. Also they give DIY and other practical advice. Loafs of cleaning products, small electricals, bulbs, decorating things etc
This shop is the last original shop on Acorn Rd from my childhood in the 60s

What a pity the country has lost so many of these hardware shops. Acorn Hardware is tops and has a fantastic rage of stores. They aren’t afraid to show what ‘personal service’ is and They remain my first choice for all hardware and DIY shopping. Well done guys!

Friendly and helpful staff, fairly priced goods, and you don't need to trail your CO2-pumping car to a big box outside town to get your hardware and DIY stuff... Plus it's spending your money in your local community! What more do you need??
