With 25 years of experience, the owner impresses with amazing flavors. Despite its small size of the hotel with only four tables, service remains quick. Our order included Dal Bhati Churma, Dal Tadka, Aloo Mattar, Bajra Roti, Thepla, Aloo Paratha, and Chapathis, all of which were delicious. A delightful experience worth revisiting.

I'm an American-born Chinese, and I was craving simple Chinese noodles. That said, the Sichuan noodles hit the spot, especially the seasoning used. The service was excellent too. I ordered seconds, and they surprised me with a larger portion. Local pricing, paid 145 rupees. Would absolutely go back!

We had absolutely delicious North Indian food here, and the prices were good too.

The aloo matar could have been a bit more salty but everything else was great!

If you love North Indian food, this is a great place to eat. They serve only vegetarian dishes, and they’re really tasty. The place isn’t fancy, but it’s nice and comfortable. The owner is super friendly and likes to talk to customers. The service is fast and good. Plus, the prices are low. They make really soft and delicious chapatis (rotis). It’s worth visiting for a good meal.

Best place for vegetarians. They give home like food, quality and quantity both are decent.

This restaurant has North Indian cuisines only for Dinner. But for lovers of such food, it is very yummy and pocket friendly. We liked it so much. Parking may be concern for large vehicles.

One of the finest Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Kumily, Thekkady ! Owner here is so friendly makes you feel like home! You can customise your order as per your needs! Tried Aloo paratha , Mix veg paratha , Ghee Phulka and Veg Kadai , Masala Rice all turned out to be soo yummy . Highly recommending this place .

We've been a regular here since last 3 years, being from North and working here we were wondering about how we will get to taste our own food.
Then we came to know about Gokul veg restaurant in Thekkady and our search ended there.
It's fantastic in all the sense, you can customise your food according to your taste and the host is wonderful. Have a nice meal!

It’s really good food here. When you are on trip and you tired eating South Indian food, this the place to try north and West Indian food. Taste is really good. Specially for Gujarati and rajsthani food. Also the staff and service is fast.

Good north Indian pure veg food. Very clean environment. Feels like home made. With less pure veg places in the area, good for vegetarian. Delicious inexpensive Gujarati, marwadi types dishes. Rishi Chaudhary (owner), is 👍

We ate Bombay thali and Gujarati thali. Food is awesome. Food quantity is more and contains vegetables and dhall. Noodles is oily. Car parking space is very small but you can park in the road. Service is good. Price is very reasonable.

Food taste is good and homely. They also provide Jain food on request. It's in budget. The manager and his staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. We had a very good experience. Parking space for 5, 6 Cars. We stayed nearby and went to gokul veg for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This restaurant is possibly the best vegetarian restaurant available in the area. North Indian food is served fresh and hot within 5 minutes of order. There is ample parking space too. Though it is a little inside and difficult to spot quickly, you'd never regret the visit.

Our group of 4 had lunch here after a trek through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The food was delicious and heavenly after our tiring morning. A wide variety of menu items and homely feel to the customers. Very small interiors but there is a comfortable waiting area if the place is busy. Must try on your visit to Thekkady. After our meal, the owner mentioned that they provide free delivery services.

If you are from Gujarat/Rajasthan then you are gonna love this! The owner is very polite and food is homelike, must try rajasthani dalbaati as owner is also marwadi, we tried methi thepla, roti, rasawala aloo, curd and buttermilk, everything were great except aloo sabji where sabji was good but not great!

Highly recommended for gujjus who is looking for oure veg restaurant!

Don't go by ambience, trust me, you will not regret on food. In fact, in our travel of Kerala, this was the best food experience, service and nature of the owner was quite welcoming.

You can try Dal Bati as the guy is marwadi.

It's pure veg and they also make good Jain food as well.

Absolutely delicious north Indian food, we all agreed it was the best food we'd had yet in India. Small, cosy place with a couple tables and very quick service.

We wanted something different after constantly having south Indian food and this place delivered the taste and food quality we were expecting. Owner is very kind and feeds with love.

We have Paneer Hyderabadi, Aloo paratha, onion pakora, masala kichidi, chaas, tawa paratha, roti and papad. Everything tasted good. Would definitely recommend.
