The best food ever had in italy. It is family business and literally nonna is cooking in the kitchen. Food is fantastic, if you want local food, then this is the spot. BUT ! To have the best food, you need to be little patients. All of the food is just fresh as you can get from italian home, so it takes time to cook it. But when you get the food, it will melt your heart. Everyone is working hard, and warm people. I wish i can eat here everyday. My pictures are not the best cause I took it after i took a bite. But just can’t say anything it was awsome…

This was my favorite restaurant in the Amalfi Coast. The food was my favorite, and it’s owned by a very nice family. We dined here twice and had amazing, authentic experiences both times. Wonderful for vegetarians! The prices are affordable as well. Portion sizes are good. Also had the best tiramisu I’ve had in Italy here. Thank you to this amazing restaurant for making my time here so memorable!

No English but WOW! We had the Greek salad and the Caprese Salad to start, both were fantastic. Calzone and pizza were next. Everything was fresh and wonderful. This is our first meal in Maiori, and they set the bar very high.

We had the best meal at this place! Best we had in Italy so far. It took a little long, but it was worth it. Everything we ordered, even just green salad, was amazing. We had lemon sea-bass, pasta with salmon and mushroom pasta. Gonna go back there tomorrow
Don't expect super high-quality service) It is not to American standards, but if you just enjoy the food, you will not be disappointed, as it really is amazing

Skip the touristy beachfront restaurants this is where real Italians eat. Like eating in your grandmas kitchen. Friendly staff incredible pasta. We loved the spaghetti limone and carbonara.

Wonderful restaurant with fresh local ingredients. Mario is such a friendly person and really sold us on his wife's cooking.

Delicious food! I am still sitting at my table and I couldn’t wait to write a review. The food here is delicious! Excellent service from what appears to be a mom and pop shop that knows their stuff. We will be definitely coming back tomorrow. We were looking to find a place to eat and we went off the recent reviews, and we hit the mark. Very reasonable prices, too.

Great fisherman's risotto and friendly and helpful service. It is a simple homely place & not some high end fancy restaurant.

We met Mario Sr by the downtown parking while trying to figure out the pay machine (it was in Italian, we speak English). He helped through the process, then told us we had to try his wife's restaurant. I was skeptical since he was clearly "hawking" customers for the restaurant (I felt like I was in NYC!). But his helpfulness was genuine and the restaurant a great place to eat. It was off season, around 130pm, so very little activity in town and the restaurant was empty. Food was delicious (caprese salad, lasagna, and vegetable pizza), service friendly. Atmosphere was typical for restaurant on a side street off the promenade, not special, but very nice. Definitely recommend it!

We were cold & hungry walking around town of Positano.,The owner was in parking area. Mario. He says “you want to eat at a great place. We followed him to the restaurant,. It was a hidden gem. All locals. Only Americans there.. It was the best of many meals. Warm inviting. The food was delicious. Locals drinking wine with the bread. I pointed to the clams linguine. He pointed to zuppa Dipesh.. aka fisherman stew. We had pizza and I had my tiramisu. This meal in America would’ve cost close to 100.. We paid 30 euros. Just go! Family owned sons working kitchen. All made to order . Did I mention it’s homemade pasta to. Don’t go to Italy if you’re gluten free.😂

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident and we're so glad we did. It's located off the main street and down one of Maiori's side streets.

Delicious, rustic Italian food made with fresh, quality ingredients. Maria is an amazing cook and Mario is a wonderful waiter. You can tell they put a lot of love into their small business.

We had spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti with garlic and anchovies. Both were absolutely delicious. The bread for the table was also very tasty- cooked fresh with olive oil drizzle and sea salt. So good. Don't expect fancy meals; rather good, tasty home-style Italian cooking.

Well priced too. Highly recommend. ⭐

A true example of traditional home made food from Campania region. Amazing fresh ingredients cooked with simplicity. I had one of the best dinners ever and Mario is the nicest waiter you could ask for! Don't trust the negative reviews here ... I read a couple and guess what they're all from foreign tourists who seem to know very little of what Italian food should be like. Don't miss it!

Forget all the fancy places you saw on TikTok because this is a true italian gem. A cute family run joint, quaint interior and absolutely amazing fresh food. Mario, a sweet old man, stands by the door to greet you and entice you in while Maria feeds you some of the best food there is to offer in Italy. The pasta was fresh and to die for. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE visit this place instead of the other stuff you see online!

When wandering the streets of Maiori we were sold on this restaurant by Mario Sr’s cool rizz. Wow what can I say, the pizza here was delicious with a fluffy and perfectly crunchy base that Mario Sr whipped up in a jiffy. The Ricci con Pomodori was fresh with some great home twizzled pasta and juicy sweet tomatoes. On top of it all we really enjoyed the vibe, and the service was great. Thanks Mario e Maria!

Traditional restaurant with grandma kitchen! Everything was delicious. We ordered Spaghetti frutti di mare and fussili with Mario e Maria sauce. The tiramisu was amazing!! You can feel it is a family business. They are fast serving food. It's not crowded at all and they have a cute terrace outside (apart of the main terrace in the main street). I really recommend it!

The owner told us the restaurant has been in the family for 6 generations! They clearly are doing something right. Reasonable prices. Very fresh seafood and ingredients, delicious pizza, many gluten free options, sat outside. Casual. Friendly. Sat outside on quiet side street in the shade.

Fantastic homemade Italian food, cooked from the very fresh ingredients! Me and my husband found this hidden little restaurant in rush Saturdays hours and were very delighted with this family run buisness! Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Italian food for a reasonable price!
