Ristorante Torre Normanna

Heaven is real. An amazing restaurant, fantastic old school hospitality in the best way. Beautiful balanced seafood focused menu. Setting on an old fort with walk over a bridge from the coastal roadside. Views over Maiori and the Gulf of Salerno, roof terrace in the Summer must be the place to be!

OMG...Just go! Not cheap, but the service, quality, and atmosphere make it all an incredible experience. I had the seafood soup (it had a much better name in Italian, and it was so worth it. We take our "western" ideals to these places and get frustrated that it wasn't perfect compared to America. Well, it was perfect for Italy, and they deserve every 5 star review they get. Thank you for a wonderful evening in a wonderful castle. Salute!

A fantastic experience, superb food and service. We got the tasting menu and we all loved every dish. I would highly recommend coming here and being sure to book the terrace.

I’ve been to a number of restaurants in Italy including Venice and Naples which were very expensive.

The expectation was that this was the only restaurant that actually felt it was worth the price. Amazing Staff, Fresh Food and amazing location. An icon of the Amalfi coast.

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a beautiful night with some great food, wine and company.

The venue with the view and romantic atmosphere is naturally setting the expectations high for the rest, and luckily the food and service did not disappoint.

The staff was very attentive and friendly as well as shared recommendations on the food and drinks.
The menu for the night was spectacular with a great choice of fresh local seafood and vegetables.
Some of my favourites include:

We had a fantastic night with some great food and wine and I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this restaurant for a special night out.

We have been to the Torre Normanna restaurant for dinner and it was great.
First of all the booking process was easy. I sent an e-mail and they answered quickly and it went smoothly. I asked for a beautiful table and we also got one with a great view toward Maiori and the coast. But I did the booking already a month in advance.
The service and the food was great. I liked the waiter who came around with the cocktail trolley to mix a fresh aperitivo. The food was really good as well. The eggplant parmigiana was the best we had at the Amalfi coast. The lemon Ravioli were excellent, too. Also the fish was super fresh and good.
I would for sure come back and recommend to go there if you stay in Maiori.

First time experience fine dining with 2 year old. Friendly staff making us feel very welcome and the atmosphere of historic tower was priceless. Definitely book reservations and perfect for honeymoon with kids.

Fantastic location, service and food!

The location was exceptional: perched upon a cliff overlooking the sea with the waves crashing against the rocks.

Their traditional amalfitan tasting menu was a culinary delight! Perfectly cooked, seafood dishes and a scrumptious dessert of delizia al limone were plated beautifully and tasted even better.

Truly one of the best dinners we’ve had!

I can't breathe! The portions are so generous, we weren't expecting it! So we only ordered 3 items and asked to share them, they split the dishes up and we each got, I'd say a single portion size. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the seafood soup. It's on the pricey side, we paid about 200 💶 but it was so worth it. The view was ridiculous, make sure you book in advance and ask for a table with a view.

When we planning for this trip, once we decided to stay 2 nights in Maori we also decided to have dinner at this place!
We can see this historical site from our room as we staying right across. The look of the place is awesome to begin with and it was our anniversary dinner. Food are amazing, views are spectacular.

The place is excellent, Michelin restaurant in 2018 with stunning views. We went there for my 30th birthday. It was a bit pricey, spent around 300€ for two people, including many courses, wine, champagne and (live) lobster. The food is very seafood heavy as usual all around the coast. Service is friendly and always helps out, very well informed about the different ingredients. The dessert was absolutely to die for. We walked in the same day to make a reservation. It’s hard to spot, from afar it looks like an old abandoned castel - which is part of the amazing experience. Normal menu with multiple courses is as 65€, main course starts at around 20€. Absolutely recommend when you are in the area and want a dinner to remember!

It’s a full 5 stars review for Torre Normanna! We came here for the first time and enjoyed a great day by the privata beach and a wonderful lunch! The location is amazing and the service impeccable. Food is very tasty and it leaves you the taste of the Amalfi coast. I recommend the spaghettoni with alici and lemon, a bit salty but soooooo delicious! We will go back!

We absolutely loved everything at our lunch Norman Tower- we were lucky enough to get engaged here on the private beach. It was everything we could ask for. Followed by an amazing lunch with the best food. Highly recommend coming here. The food and views and staff are amazing!

Thoroughly enjoyed! We got the salt crusted catch of the day which was awesome but turned out to be much more fish than we needed. Would consider just ordering what they have on the menu. Would work out cheaper too. They were very generous with sides and threw in a desert or two on the house. Great views and a good time. Would highly recommend.
