Hotel Sole Splendid

I really liked this hotel. It was a steal since it is located on the beautiful beach in Maori. The Seaview room was small but clean and had a large balcony and a very large bathroom. The staff was very welcoming, professional, and helpful. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations with high-quality food and pastries. Not to mention the ladies who perform barista duties! It is walkable to all restaurants and commerce in the area. I loved getting my gourmet coffee at no additional cost at breakfast. 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations.

We had a delightful stay at Sole Splendid. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was my birthday, and they surprised me with a bottle of sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch. A special shout-out to Margherita, the wonderful receptionist, who went above and beyond to help us with all the details and recommendations around the area. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! Highly recommend this hotel.

We were satisfied to the maximum! The staff is boundlessly kind and attentive! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable! Special mention to the fact that I am gluten sensitive and have never had this kind of treatment at breakfast anywhere!

Hotel Sole Splendid was an amazing stay. Location is prime right at the end of the main road, almost a cul- de-sac, with the beautiful ocean right outside our balcony. Their breakfast was quite varied and delicious. They were so kind to give us a bottle of prosecco as it was our honeymoon. All the staff was so courteous, attentive, and kind. Our room was beautifully quaint with a balcony view. Everything was clean. I will say the elevators are a bit smaller than what american visitors might be used to.

We arrived at this hotel and right away felt right at home. Nicola and Ida at the front desk are amazing!!! They made sure we had the perfect room for our stay. The breakfast is also delicious with great service. We have two more nights here and definitely don’t want it to end. Our room view is spectacular and the beach is literally 10 steps away. For 20 euros only, you can get two beds and one umbrella at the beach. We are enjoying our stay and can’t wait to return in future years! Thank you.

Clean room and spacious bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Easy to get in and out of. Spot on the private beach costs 20€ but includes 2 umbrellas and table. Or you can use the free public area. Rented a scooter nearby and drove to Positano too! Nearby shopping is a few min walk away. Loved our trip!

Our stay at Hotel Sole Splendid was indeed splendid! The rooms were spacious, clean, and the balcony was a great bonus. The staff was the nicest and most helpful we interacted with in all of Italy! Ida and Margarita were so kind and answered all of our questions, even via email before our trip. It’s in a great location in Maiori as well as a great option for avoiding crowded tourist traps. The free breakfast was also delicious and had such a great variety! I would recommend highly!

The hotel is in a perfect location along the Amalfi Coast, not too busy and easy to get to all the main spots by bus and/or ferry. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a beautiful beach vibe and don't want to go broke in the process! Definitely try to upgrade to the sea view rooms with the balcony as that was one of the main highlights of my trip. The staff was very kind and helped out with any questions I had. The breakfast is also very delicious.

The location is fantastic. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac so you have no cars going in front of the hotel and you can walk straight out and look at the ocean. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had.

Had a great stay at the Sole Splendid hotel, the sea view in the morning with the rising sun was amazing. The staff is polite and willing to help if you have any questions about the area or the hotel. The sea can be quite noisy if it gets stormy and the beds where not ideal for my back but managed to sleep pretty okay in the room.

This hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay in beautiful Maiori. I barely can find words for the great service, that the staff provided during our whole stay. They were kind and helpful all the time. The hotel also has a great breakfast buffet! I have not seen such a buffet in Italy, yet.The location is perfect, right on the beach.

I have to give it 5 stars as we received a free upgrade to a sea view balcony room on the top floor. The room costs over double the economy but the view is great (siting on their beach is extra of course), and no road in front. Dated decor but clean and spacious, great shower. Aircon & ceiling fan are only just adequate to cool room. Breakfast is passable. Staff are very helpful and polite. I would love to stay here again, upgrade permitting!

Perfect location; great view and a few steps away from the sea, not to mention the only hotel that does not require you to cross the street to get the beach.

Great breakfast with the option of room service, good and easy AC (no remote, just a key that you turn) , nice rooms and spacious bathrooms with comfortable showers.

Older hotel with many rooms recently renovated. Great view from the balcony rooms of the sea. Great and friendly staff.

Best hotel we stayed in on the Amalfi Coast! 5 minute walk to the center of Maiori, and 20-30 minute walk to the next town, Minori. Nice beach right in front of the hotel, and since the main road curves left just before the hotel, there's no car traffic between the hotel and the beach. The staff, especially Ida, were so helpful and friendly, even booking a shuttle to the Naples airport for us. She also gave us a free room upgrade, and the room was super nice! The room was huge (even had a little side reading room with an armchair), very clean and modern, with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was great. No complaints, would definitely come back here again!

Perfect location. The sea and beach is literally just across the road. Also it's next to a beautiful small roundabout, like it!
