Chiosco Bar San Francesco

We love beer. And we drank the majority of the menu of the beer brewed here. And I can honestly say, it's some of the best craft beer we've ever drunk. When I found this place, it was on the promise of a good limoncello spritz - and it was delicious - but the beer was sensational. Not only that, but the service was absolutely fantastic. Can't rate it highly enough. Highly, highly recommend for beer lovers.

I cannot stress enough what a lovely time my friends and I had here. Not only was the food delicious (lasagna, cannelloni), but the service was fantastic. It is owned and operated by some of the nicest people who really care about giving you a great time accompanied by great food. The lemon spritz drinks are fantastic as well. If you’re staying in Maiori, give this place a shot!

Francesco was a gentleman and the quality of food was exceptional. We are here 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed in Maiori and we highly recommend this restaurant. The beer 🍻 was also delightful. Francesco, thank you for the memorable experience in Maiori.

Franco has the best lemoncello spritz in all of Italy!! We spent 2 weeks visiting different cities and no one can beat his!! My husband enjoyed the artesian beer that Franco makes. He was very attentive and friendly answering our questions. Would have loved to have eaten here but they were closing soon. The view is also pretty awesome of the sea!

Out of our 2 week Europe vacation (Barcelona, Paris, Rome, and Maiori), this is THE BEST food we’ve eaten! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Don’t let the looks of the place deter you. It’s a family run business where the owner brews his own beers, which are amazing, and his wife cooks the food, all homemade! The owner sincerely cares about you and your experience, making it very personal. Do not miss this amazing dinner!

This is a must visit while in Maiori! My friend group of ten went here for every breakfast, and came back from lunch and dinner. It's a family owned business that is very personal and serves exceptional customer service. Their food is exceptional, especially their lasagna! It made our weekend visit.

Cute little restaurant tucked away by the beach. Amazing home cooked food with extraordinary taste! The clam pasta was to die for! And the pasta is fresh made as well. The host, Franco, was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. The prices are amazing too, at 15 euros for each main plate. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

Most hidden Gem in all of Amalfi Coast - Amazing homemade and fresh meals for an affordable price, view of the sea, very good service and incredible craft beer! Make sure to try some of the amazing Pasta and take some bottles of Craft Beer home with you or on your trip! :)

We came here 2 days in a row because it was great and he had so many options! It’s a very quaint He read us the dishes of the day asks we just chose what sounded good to us as he described them. The salad was delicious with the best mozzarella I’ve had ever. The lemon seafood pasta was just what we were looking for. And the seafood Risotto was very very good. Not to mention, it is on the beach with amazing views.

This place is the gem of Maiori!!! We were served by the owner who brews his own beer (he served his brewing apprenticeship in Belgium).
We only called on for one beer but ended up sampling 6 beers + antipasti lunch…and wow! did we enjoy it!!
It’s a family run business and they are very attentive and take pride in their service (unlike so many other establishments on the Amalfi coast). Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go again.

We found this place because it was across the street from our hotel. The staff is friendly and generous with the appetizers. The view of the coast is amazing and they make their own beer… it is better than words can explain. Try the La Rosa, La Dorata and the La Costiera for sure! Amazing! Perfecto!

As someone with allergies, dining out can be a stressful experience. It is not stressful here. Undoubtedly the best experience I have had in any restaurant anywhere in the world. This family run restaurant treats you like kin and I ate so well and so safely; I could not be happier with my experience. Worth multiple return visits. Do not miss the opportunity to visit here.

Best food in Maiori! Service was amazing!! We ordered the lasagna, ravioli and cannolis and every dish was delicious. The limoncello spritz was phenomenal as well. 100% would come back again!

We came here twice for dinner over the week. The best place we’ve eaten on the Amalfi Coast. The owner is so personable and treats you like you’re his friends over for dinner. Fresh seafood, changing menu and delicious lemoncello to end the night. Awesome craft beers also!
Such a passion for serving their customers and making sure they leave full and happy.

Francesco puts out amazing food in this tiny beachside restaurant. The pasta is all homemade and everything we had was amazing from the coffee con crema to the stuffed calamari.

I highly recommend trying anything Francesco recommends, especially the pastas as the lasagna and four cheese pasta with sausage were amazing.

On our trip here we liked everything so much that we decided to come back twice and we usually only like to go to new places while traveling!

Added bonus, Mainori and Majori are in my opinion the coolest towns in the Amalfi as they are the least touristic and you see many locals strolling down the boardwalks and children playing.

We popped in here because it had a good rating on Google maps, and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, and the staff were lovely. This is a must if you are in Maiori.

Our menu was: Pasta with Cetara Anchovies and Pasta with Calamari and Anduja from Calabria. Perfectly cooked, nicely, and kindly presented by the owner himself. Their Terra Mia beers are also masterpieces. Keep up the good job!! 👌👌👌

When you get off the ferry it’s about the second bar along as you walk into town. Francesco’s delightful hospitality, his own label Terra Mia Artisan beers, seaside tables and the best fresh seafood pastas you will eat made this our favourite place for drinks and food during our two weeks in Maiori. Francesco will sit down beside you and explain each menu item and the qualities of each of his beers. He and his wife were like our good mates by the end of our stay.
