Hotel Covo dei Saraceni

Covo Dei Saraceni was an incredible hotel, prime-time location, amazing views of the beach, fantastic pool with the best bar-tenders and staff. The lobby bar is amazing. Spectacular hotel and will absolutely be back.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The highlight of our stay was our experience with the bartender Rosario. When I tell you he was the kindest soul I have ever met I am not exaggerating. Never have I felt more prioritized and honored than when being taken care of by Rosario. He deserves nothing less than the world and if we were all more like him the world would be a much happier place. Make sure you stop by and give Rosario a hello. Positano is a beautiful location with beautiful sights to see but what will stick with me is the kindness and grace that Rosario offered.

Review on the restaurant/ bar:
the staff treated us like FAMILY (especially Rosario). Rosario's lounge basically became our living room (but with incredible service) during our trip and we did not even stay at the hotel. Every time we walked by, we could not help but stop in for a cocktail, to relax on the incredible couches, have some snacks and see Rosario's friendly face. Rosario just went above and beyond to always make sure we had everything we needed or could possibly want, the cocktails were incredible and we always just felt so welcomed. We can not wait to come back and visit Rosario and the team at Covo dei Saraceni. A highlight of Positano.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but went to the bar every night when we were in Positano, and I can’t say enough great things about Rosario. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and treated us like family! An awesome bartender and an even better person. Even if you don’t stay here, you should definitely go to the bar and meet him. Drinks and service were top notch!

The drinks in the bar were amazing, especially their limoncello spritz. The service was also great.

Heaven. The staff was friendly; the hotel is beautiful and our room could not have been better. We enjoyed the main restaurant and the pool restaurant/bar. Location was amazing!

We went for coffee and cake on the hotel terrace with a stunning view. The coffee and cakes were excellent, just like the service.

This review is based solely on the hotel bar service we had when we visited late August 2023. We did not stay at this hotel but we would stop by daily for a drink at the lobby bar and we were greeted graciously by Rosario each time. He was so nice and we got to know each other very well. He would give us wine recommendations and we loved talking about our cultural differences. He was by far the most hospitable person I have met in Italy. He would make sure we had nuts, olives, chocolates or something delicious to munch on while we enjoyed his company, a cocktail, & a lovely view from inside. The couches were cozy and the interior made it seemed like you were outside, surrounded by bougainvilleas. I highly recommend you stop by one evening to relax and enjoy a cocktail and ask for Rosario.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working as wedding photographer at the Covo dei Saraceni in Positano for an elopement, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. My team and I were captivated by the beauty of this place and the quality of the service.

The rooms with terraces overlooking Positano are simply wonderful. Every corner is a burst of fantastic colors, enriched with plants and flowers that create the perfect setting for a symbolic ceremony. It was a dream to capture these moments in such an enchanting environment.

The hotel's location is exceptional, situated in the heart of Positano's marina. This makes it incredibly easy to step out for photos in the picturesque streets of the town, and it also offers the opportunity to take a boat for a romantic excursion along the coast. Every detail seems designed to make each moment special and unique.

What truly made our experience extraordinary was the incredible hospitality we received. A special thanks goes to Concetta, who treated us as if we were at home. Her assistance was essential for the shoot, and the care she gave to the couple, literally pampering them, was extraordinary. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work.

I would unreservedly recommend the Covo dei Saraceni to all couples looking for a dream elopement. The combination of a breathtaking environment, impeccable service, and warm hospitality makes this hotel the perfect choice for celebrating a special love.

Hotel Covo dei Saraceni was the dream honeymoon location. Hands down the best hotel to stay at in Positano. The location is impossible to beat and the staff were incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared about. The family sent us a bottle of champagne to our room to welcome us and congratulate us for our wedding & honeymoon. Each day we start with the delicious breakfast and then would go to the pool to relax and admire the beautiful view overlooking the sea and boats. We truly enjoyed every minute of our time spent at the hotel and Positano. We will definitely be returning again in the future and would not even think about staying anywhere other than Covo dei Saraceni.

My Husband and I stayed here from May 3-7, 2023. It was an amazing experience from start to end. They offered to help book our travel from the airport, had a service to bring our bags right to the room so we did not have to worry about carrying them through the streets, and our room was ready immediately. The staff was amazing. Whether it was the bartender who made the lounge an awesome place for us to start our night, the breakfast staff who were accommodating to every need and even took a romantic photo shoot of us to celebrate our honeymoon, the restaurant staff where we ate twice because we loved it so much, and the front staff who were so helpful by giving us directions, made recommendations for us, and attending to anything we needed. There were so many great things about this place - the views, the pool, the location was so convenient to the ferry for any day trips, walking distance to the beach, the room was clean and comfortable etc. I could go on and on. We just had an amazing time here and I would absolutely recommend!!

This hotel was perfection - from the location, to the service, the kind staff, the breath taking views from the pool, the breakfast buffet, I mean it was just perfect all around. We LOVED working with Rosalio! He was so kind. He told us how he tries to treat his hotel guests as "family" and as if we were "guests at his home" and he was 100% right about that! He was very kind, very attentive, very friendly, and just always a pleasure to be around. John Paul was also lovely. They really made our stay great! Thank you!

Maybe It was Positano, maybe it the the hotel or maybe it was the view but no matter what I loved this hotel. The front desk quickly helped arranged a car since the public ferry was cancelled in Salerno and they kept in touch the whole time. Everyone who worked there always had a smile on their face. The room was spotless. The free breakfast was excellent and they even made special order omelets. The pool had a picturesque view also. The location was right by the water taxis. I had a premium room/view that was something out of a postcard. I would 100% stay here again.

This is hands down the best hotel in Positano. We were recommended by friends who said how amazing it was. After all the amazing feedback we have prior we were still in shock at just how perfect the hotel is!
From the moment we were greeted at reception, every single staff member has been Devine.
Maria every morning at breakfast has taken care of us, making sure if there’s anything we need she is right there. Not only is she so helpful but she’s SO lovely. Her true beautiful Italian personality really amplifies and compliments the setting. She is one memorable lady who we can not wait to see again!
At the pool bar, you have the beautiful Davide. He is so lovely, attentive and constantly making us smile and laugh. He makes the whole experience seamless, he remembers the drinks you like and he never fails to recommend a delicious beverage. We have been all over Europe and my husband and I can definitely say this is the best hotel. We can not wait to come back!

Five star hotel. Amazing roof top pool and pool bar where they make fantastic drinks. Front desk is always there to help and bar on ground floor (bartender rosario) was great. Located near the beach which makes it easy for the walk back down after dinner. Close to many restaurants and bars. No better spot. If I ever come back to Positano I will be staying here again.

The secret spirits of covo dei saraceni, we tested some of them and they were great. We loved the italian grappa.

The bar offers exceptional service. The staff was incredibly and friendly, especially Rosario. I definitely recommend this place!

My now husband and I spent three days of our honeymoon here. Our room looked out over the crystal blue water, and the view was absolutely picturesque. The location of the hotel is excellent because it’s right at the bottom of the mountain to be able to use the beach, while the hotel pool gives you exclusivity, again with amazing views. Breakfast each morning overlooking the water is delicious.
Dinner at the hotel is worth a try since all the seafood is very fresh. And you must stop at the bar for drinks, the managing bar tender will always remember your name, give tons of tourist advice, and makes the best cocktails, especially the cosmopolitan.
It’s a great escape!

We had am amazing time inPositano and at this beautiful hotel 3 weeks ago. The location was perfect and the views incredible.The rooftop pool and bar was a great addition to this lovely hotel. The staff was so welcoming and warm, especially Davide at the pool bar and Maria in the breakfast room which was also wonderful. We also ate one nite at the hotel restaurant and really thought its was very delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for your Almafi Coast visit!
