Villa Rosa

Amazing! We stayed for 3 night in Oct and wish we had stayed longer! The views are amazing . The terrace was so beautiful and private having our breakfast every morning with that view I will never forget. Easy walk to all the areas in Positano you would want to visit. The staff was so friendly and helpful . The breakfast was delicious. We took a taxi here so we did not deal with bringing luggage from boat so it was so easy!
Rooms are immaculate and bed was wonderful! Thank you for a wonderful stay we will be back!

A wonderful hotel, with friendly and courteous staff. The bellboy graciously carried our luggage to our room, and they were super heavy. He did so with a huge smile. The check in staff all spoke English and were so nice. Our air conditioned room had its' own private balcony, with a couple of lounge chairs, a breakfast table with 2 chairs, and the view was phenomenal. Breakfast each morning was brought to us by the same friendly bell boy, and there was always more food than we could eat. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom was also a good size. Side note, my daughter loved the shampoo they provided.

My husband and I just stayed at Villa Rosa for our Honeymoon and this hotel is magical! The views from the room balconies are SPECTACULAR! We had the most picturesque view of all of Positano. It was such a treat waking up each morning and enjoying breakfast while looking at the incredible view. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a PERFECT location. Its right off the main road next to Hotel Le Sirenuse and Bar Franco. Its very easy to get to the main shops in town, and there are not many stairs to get to the main beach (especially compared to other hotels). I highlight recommend you stay here!

Our stay at Villa Rosa was quite nice. The terrace was the highlight of the whole stay and we enjoyed eating breakfast out there each morning in addition to the occasional evening beverage and snack. The rooms are very clean and crisp, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They have all the extras you may need during your stay from toiletries to umbrellas to beach towels. The only downside is the noise. The walls and windows are very thin and you can hear everything from the street and hallways. My husband and I also had issue with the AC as we did not realize it was not on the right mode at first and were quite hot the first night. Once we figured out it wasn’t on cool, it was much better from then on. Overall I would rate at 4.5 stars.

We loved Villa Rosa! The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was very nice with a beautiful patio overlooking the water that had a table and chairs, plus two lounge chairs. Each morning breakfast was brought to the outdoor patio which created the perfect setting. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I absolutely loved my experience here. I only stayed for 1 night but it felt like luxury. For breakfast they give you a menu of what you would like and the portions and everything is included (unless you buy extras like eggs). I had breakfast on the terrace overlooking Positano and it was just gorgeous.

It was extremely clean. The staff was kind and courteous and they even let me store my bags there before check in time.

The towels were thick and large and the bedding was quite comfortable. Everything in the room was built with high quality. I would 1000% stay here again.

This was the perfect spot in Positano. Such warm service at the hotel. Very accommodating.

The walk up from the beach is very easy (10 min stroll)

Side tip: walk a block up from the Gas Station and go to Roc - Pizza and Streak. Best food on the island with a special mention to Li Galli Bistrot!

Also side Tip: forget Franco’s right across the Villa Rosa. You are honestly better off ordering drinks from Villa Rosa and enjoying on your Terrance patio!

Villa Rosa is one of the most wonderful places I’ve stayed in all my life. I can’t imagine a better experience in Positano. I’d visited years ago and stayed at another more expensive hotel, and I liked Villa Rosa better. It’s amazing when you’re visiting such a wonderful destination like Positano and still ecstatic to come back to your room. Each time we walked in after our day, we were so happy and content. The terrace was so much bigger than we expected, and we loved spending time sitting on the lounge chairs at all hours of the day- daytime and nighttime, each was better than the next; the view of the lights of the village on the cliffside and boats in the sea were divine.

Annalisa was AMAZING helping plan our visit; she made reservations for us at several restaurants that we hadn’t been able to get to respond to our emails. Ersilia was also wonderful with questions via email pre-trip. I felt like I made new friends there-I’d come back to the hotel and tell Annalisa or Antonella a bit about our day, and they were so fun and sweet to listen to us. Their happiness was contagious.

Each morning, Luca or Antonio showed up delivering a wonderful tray of breakfast foods (there was a great selection and each night we chose what we wanted to be delivered the next morning). The breakfast tray was like a postcard –croissants and espresso and cappuccino set against the backdrop of Positano with pots of bougainvillea lining the balcony.

Our room looked out over Franco’s Bar so we loved the buzz of people and music later in the evening; it was like we were there but from the comfort of our room. The bed was comfortable and shower was lovely, we loved the scent of the toiletries, and the AC was cold which was welcome after the heat of the summer. The location was great-the walk to shops or the beach were both reasonable. We are back home and missing Villa Rosa every day- we already started talking about how we can get back here again one day.

My big discovery in Positano. Great location just across from Le Sirenuse. Beautiful view of the sea from balcony. Room was spacious and bathroom with window too. The breakfast was good. Only suggestion is they can still upgrade the quality of bed and bed design.

Highly recommend staying here. Just a short walk down to the beach, lots of shops nearby, stunning view from our balcony. Breakfast was delivered to our room each day, coffee was yum!

After our original Positano hotel canceled our reservation 3 weeks before our stay, my friend and I booked the only room left at Villa Rosa. We stayed in the king suite which was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast of our choice was served on our terrace at whatever time we selected. We each had a day bed, bath robes, slippers etc. The front desk helped us with every need and stored our bags for free which is not a common thing there. I wish our stay was longer than one night.

For me the perfect location in Positano. Close to the beach, shopping, ferry, and restaurants. We were treated incredibly the staff is truly amazing!

Grazie times a billion!!!! The wife and I stayed at the Villa Rosa in Positano and we felt like royalty visiting their own fully staffed villa. We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay. The location and views can not be understated. I loved being close to several nice restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The hotel staff with their friendliness and warmth makes me wonder if the stay even happened or was it just a dream. The breakfast…yeah that definitely was a dream. So tasty and you can order so much. I got hot chocolate and coffee then made my own cafe mocha. This could have been the best cafe mocha I ever had. Easily top 3!!!!!

My husband and I weighed different hotel options when planning our trip to Positano and were relieved to find we made a fantastic choice with Villa Rosa. The price point, immaculate views and convenience from the pier made for a perfect location. Breakfast is tailored to your liking and is delivered on your schedule each morning. The hotel reception went above and beyond in suggesting and booking restaurant reservations, excursions and luggage porter service during our stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and made our stay a memorable one! Grazie mille, Villa Rosa!

The entire staff at Hotel Villa Rosa was incredible and helped us get reservations for dinners, boat tours, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From breakfast deliveries to the room to fantastic views, it is absolutely worth staying at when visiting Positano.

My now husband and I stayed here for two nights - the night before and night of our wedding and it was beyond perfect! The location is absolutely stunning - the views from the terrace are unreal (our room was on 3rd floor). The room was clean, simple, and beautiful. The staff were so helpful and accommodating the entire time. There are no elevators so they have people bring your bags up and down for you. The breakfast they bring up to your room every morning was so good! Couldn't recommend this place more.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in a Standard Seaview room. Service, room, continental breakfast on the private terrace was all top notch. Especially the terrace was amazing with beautiful views of Positano. The are super helpful with everything from private transfer back and forth to the airport to car rental. I would definitely recommend Villa Rosa to anyone!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights while we were getting married in Positano. Not only was this one of the most conveniently located hotels in the city, but also one with some of the best views!!!

The staff was ridiculously accommodating! Anything we asked of the front desk staff, was brought to us in a snap. From making dinner and car reservations, to promptly delivering laundry and steam-pressing our clothes in a blink of an eye.

We rented about four rooms and one of the suites for us and our families and was able to experience several different room types and views. If you don’t like your view on the lower floors, ask to move. But we highly recommend staying on the higher levels as a few of the lower floor rooms don’t have a view.

The coffee and breakfast they bring you in the morning are delicious! The croissants and muffins are so tasty, and the mushroom omelets are delicious, as well.
Highly impressed overall.

The staff is friendly. Despite us arriving way ahead of our check in time they held our bags, and let us use some towels for the beach. The room is fairly large(we had a standard seaview room), we had a couple lounge chairs in ours to sit on, but the view from the balcony is what is worth the money. The balcony has two beach beds you can lie on, a table and a day bed. Breakfast is served on it every morning. Was amazing!

So far it's our third day here and it has been wonderful! The room is clean, the balcony and view is amazing and the front desk has been so helpful with their recommendations and help making reservations!!! I would highly recommend this hotel!! It's so close to many great restaurants as well and again the front desk helps organize transportation!! When we arrived at the airport our taxi had not shown up, we got ahold of the hotel and they were able to arrange alternative transportation in no time!! Wonderful service!!!
