What a lovely visitors information center. Just a wee bit of the highway, I think it is run by volunteers. They were fully stocked with all types of information on the sites in Kansas. Free maps. Clean restrooms. Free coffee to boot! Very large with perhaps a few meetings rooms. When you see the Victorian era looking house with the large porch you arrived.

Friendly staff. Right off I35 for a quick bathroom stop. I’ve been traveling through Ottawa and didn’t know this was here. If you are into genealogy, stop here for info about Franklin County.

This is a beautiful building and the lady who works there is very friendly. You can get maps from more than one state. The restrooms are very clean.

Tent camped out back for free for a night. Either call the visitor center if they’re open or the Sheriff if they’re closed. Sheriff came by and was super nice, made sure I was set up okay, and even gave me tips on the next days bike ride

Very welcoming. They gave us the information we needed about finding a fish restaurant, good directions. Offered us other maps and such. Clean ladies room. It was Tastefully decorated.

Very cheerful and helpful people. The restrooms are nice and clean and accessible. Sorry they are only open limited hours, NOT 24/7.

It was great I got right in and out. Plus they have a bathroom. I was registering for car show.

Great place to take a break from driving. Clean, neat facility, helpful, friendly staff, food coffee and MAPS. The paper kind, so you can actually see options like scenic byways and secondary roads, instead of just the freeway!

Received great information inside. Volunteer Juanita opened our eyes to the area in a positive way.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Nice, clean, and beautifully decorated facility. Easy to locate from the road and lots of parking.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Free postcards! Tons of brochures for events and sites throughout the region in the state.
