Amazing camp ground!!
The location could not get any better. The rangers are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean - showers are hot and private. Firewood available for sale 4-7pm, $5 a bundle.
Would book a site here again in a heartbeat.
Each site is private, with shrubbery cover.
It is an easy walk down to the park/beach and to sunset point.

Stellar campground right on the ocean. The campgrounds aren't too far away from each other but it's not too bad and worth the tradeoff of the quick walk down to the water. Some of, if not the best bathrooms I have experienced in a campground with showers included.

Pretty big family/RV presence so I wouldn't be surprised if you heard some crying babies or dog barking during quiet hours. Definitely going to try snag a spot next season.

Super nice and clean Campground. The bathrooms are super clean and the showers are fantastic No low-flow showerheads here 😁 and the beach is just a short walk away. Will definitely come back here again

Best campground experience we’ve ever had—and we’ve been to many of them. Sites are beautiful and well maintained. FREE HOT SHOWERS makes for an entirely different camping experience! Large children’s play structure. Easy walk down to the beach.

It’s also super conveniently located: Brookings is just a mile away and has every amenity a camper could need.

Pro tip: if buying $5 bundles of wood from the campground, note that it’s only open from 4-7pm daily. And make sure you include a fire starter for each intended fire you want to build. I’m a fantastic fire starter but the wood was damp and proved necessary every time (I guess that’s what this California camper didn’t remember about camping in Oregon 😆).

If you're in the Brookings area, do yourself a favor and camp here! The campsites were so awesome - they had hedges separating each site for privacy which was a great touch. Bathrooms were super clean, showers were hot with amazing water pressure. Less than half a mile walk to the beach! Will definitely camp here again!

We rented the Chetco yurt in the middle of a cold wet winter storm, and it was so warm and comfortable! The rocky beach is absolutely stunning. Slept comfortably among the pines and the rain. The park service never sent us a security code to access our yurt, but the on-site campground manager found us a new code in a few short minutes. Highly recommend this incredible, beautiful site.

Live this Campground! One of my favourite places to stop on the Coast. Quiet, very well maintained, bathrooms & showers clean. Amazing showers that are free, good pressure & hot water. Elk visit here some nights & an owl is hooting as I type. Very peaceful & relaxing.

Wonderful gem on the southern Oregon coast. Clean and spacious sites. A few with views of the ocean. There is a lovely walking path separate from the day use area that is a little tricky to traverse if wet but leads to a small sand and pebble beach. Great at sunset. Picturesque coastline.

Love this place! The folks working here take excellent care of this campground and it shows. The restrooms, showers, and grounds are sparkling clean, and everyone is so nice. I get the sense that the folks up-keeping this campground truly care about this place.

On features - The sites are great, mostly private for how many there are, the beach area is a short walk (or drive) from the campground, and the views on the beach are STUNNING.

10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Well on a super busy weekend, we had one day stay when I went to start truck the next morning fuel pump died. They made space for us to stay extra night for me to repair truck. The people in charge there were very kind and helpful. Thank you!!!

Harris Beach State Park is amazing! The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The restrooms and showers are very clean. I have camped here previously but this time I stayed in a yurt and it was awesome!! My golden retriever really liked it! The beach area is beautiful and the sunset was incredible! The only bad thing is the east side of the campground gets alot of road noise from Highway 101. 😒

One of my favorite camping spots so far. Clean and well thought out camp. Beach is beautiful. Lots of trees and privacy. Bad knees? Use the northern beach access with a railed (gentle incline) rather than the paved (slick) path on the south end. Make sure to drive to the top to see the botanical gardens and sea lion/whale watching areas.

Great spaces for camping with a tent or RV, they also have Yurts. They have trails throughout the campground which is a plus and trails leading down to the beach itself with restrooms and showers at the campsite. Overall great little gem and will be back.

Very clean and organized campground. Small amount of first come first serve sites with ocean view. Full hookup. Hot showers and flush toilets. Short walk to the beach.

Just beautiful! Well maintained. Friendly staff and volunteers. Had an ocean view this time which comes with more wind that limits some activities ( games on the picnic table). The near by trails to the beach were wonderful and good exercise. There's even a paved trail for walking or biking to town. Restrooms and showers are great.

Great campground. Campsites feel very private, lots of great bushes and shrubs. They also had very nice showers.
