Always pretty good and friendly service. Their remodel is nice, and they have a lot of stuff. Their prices are clearly higher than the box stores, but they are convenient, and they do have some great sales on big ticket items. It's a very clean store.

This place was so fun, helpful, clean and organized! When we came in the door four people asked us what we needed before 5 minutes went by! Great place! Amazing staff

They had what I needed that The Home Depot did not. I needed the correct water pump filters.

Update: Amazing service! Ordered a Champion 4500 generator. It was shipped to store on time and I saved $300 over Amazon. Cascade was absolutely swamped with generator orders and dealt with major shipping issues due to the fires. They came thru with flying colors! Smiles all around. My thanks to Charles Smith and everyone at Cascade Home Center..
Great customer service.. a hard to find product was in stocks. Only business in town that did.

Love this store, the employees are genuinely nice and so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend trying them out!! Never know might even meet a racecar driver while you’re there!!

Nice to have a conveniently located hardware store in town. Formerly known as Ace hardware, now owned by Gold Beach Lumber. Both places have a good selection of wide variety of home improvement items or for new construction. We bought a lockable mailbox and were able to redeem the a Gold Beach Lumber rewards on the purchase. No need to drive all the way to Home Depot or wait for stuff in the mail. Employees are nice and helpful.

I love this store! Not only does it carry pretty much anything that you would need but the employees are so extremely kind and professional! These days, that is rare! Must be an awesome company to work for or you wouldn’t see all of those smiling faces! AAAAA+++

This place is GREAT! I had to make "several" trips to Cascade over a few day period. Each time I got greeted at the front door, asked if I needed help finding something, & shown where it was if I did. Everybody seemed in a good mood & happy to help. Plus they never seen to run out of parking...............

I can't tell you how much I appreciate having this store in Brookings. I've been renovating my travel trailer and bought everything I needed at Cascade (with the exception of some lumber I bought at their sister store Golds Beach Lumber).
Everyone on staff has been helpful and friendly (isn't it great when you get the feeling people are happy where they work!).

In particular I'd like to call out the knowledgeable lady in the paint department. I wish I'd noted her name. She has been so patient with me and my peculiar requests. Like how do I paint a vinyl trailer wall? Her recommendation for a bonding primer was spot on. From hideous brown vinyl to bright and lovely white walls and sky blue ceiling that I know won't peel or scratch off...just a huge positive transformation of the space.

Love this store and very grateful to have them in the community.

It was so refreshing to stop by a hardware store and receive excellent customer service. The first associate I encountered asked what I needed. She sent me to the correct aisle and indicated someone would be there shortly to help. I started to read thru the "do-it-yourself" manual I brought with me then the associate arrived and took over from there. I left the store with the tools I needed to complete the repair. After thanking "Curtis", the associate who helped me locate correct tools, I then showed him pictures of a second repair job I needed to get completed. He indicated the store also had those items in stock if I would go out to the second building around back. All-in-all, a great experience and I will certainly return. The service a person gets at this store outweighs any savings you might get by going to a large "box store" where you would likely wander the aisles aimlessly trying to guess what you need.

A+ Great people and great service! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciate that this wonderful group of employees cares about customer safety during the pandemic. That alone is more more than many stores are doing in the Brookings/Harbor area (I won't shop at those other stores anymore because of this). Special thanks to Teresa and Shawn for the above-and-beyond help as well!

This place has everything I need so they get five stars. Still if I had to offer one critique the staff could be more friendly.
