Fresh, tasty and delicious food. The shrimp fajitas are really good.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and immediate attention. There was a massive group of firefighters ahead of us, but they still got us sat down right away. We took a while to go through the massive menu, and finally decided on some enchiladas and one of their specials. Food was amazing, portions were massive, great value.

Even though there was only 2 people working on front end, service was friendly, prompt, and never lacking despite a packed restaurant. Flavors were amazing, one portion is definitely enough to split, but trust me, you won't want to share.

Check out Rancho Viejo, support a local business and enjoy the same experience we did! 5 stars!

We got take-out (obviously) and it was DELICIOUS! They didn't have any margaritas today but I'll be back to try those 😉 The enchilada suiza was fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try more of their yummy food!

If you want a friendly, sit-down, Mexican restaurant in Brookings, Oregon, Rancho Viejo is a great option! They offer booth seating, fast & friendly service, and a large menu so they're sure to have something you like. My mom says Rancho Viejo has the best Carne Asada dinner plate in town, in case you needed a recommendation!

I own and operate Hurry In Curry Delivery Service here in Brookings and I love delivering from Rancho Viejo because they have fast service and the people who run the place are amongst the warmest folks in Brookings--go see for yourself!

If you want Rancho Viejo delivered, call Hurry In Curry!

P.S. the cheese and onion enchilladas are a very popular delivery item, as with the seafood burrito. Also people always want some of their spicy cabbage slaw--believe the hype!

The plates are big and so is the taste. Delicious 😋 I order this dish often. This is one of the best I have had. I rarely finish it but this time I came real close...

This was my first time here, and I wasn't disappointed. I always order chile verde, and this time, I had it on a tostada. It was different. Our waiter was friendly and fast. The decor was authentic and comfortable. We had a good time.

No better place in Brookings for Mexican food then right here! Once I’ve discovered this place, it tops my rankings for the best Mexican food in Brookings and the surrounding area!! The drinks are outstanding and the food ranks right up there with them. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Absolutely friendly service. We were given the wrong meals twice & there seemed to be some confusion between the kitchen & our server, but the server was extremely apologetic. We didn't complain or anything, but they gave our two kids' meals on the house. The food was super delicious. The chips were warm & the salsa was among the best I've ever had. I was highly impressed!

I have frequented here numerous times but will not anymore. The owner doesn't know ADA rules and has refused my service dog twice. Once he wound up allowing him after I showed him the rules online but the next time he refused entry saying it's his restaurant and he decides. I will be sending him a letter outlining the ada rules and filing a complaint and possible lawsuit. I also went there the week before for lunch and the special was taco salad. The taco salad showed up with just the salad part. No tortilla bowl or even a single tortilla chip. I got meat, lettuce, tomato, guac and sour cream on a plate. That's the taco salad special. I'll pass on patronizing this place in the future.

Very humble and polite service, with great authentic dishes. Prices are reasonable, and great in the sense of value. The server was honest about the seafood not being local, which is appreciated. Also, loved their "Diablo" sauce, it clears you out quite nicely. Enjoy!

Was just driving by when we decided to stop and give it a try. From the outside it did not grab your attention, until you see the person outside barbecuing, and you got a wiff of something good. Inside the place was empty, but that is no surprise as most places are these days because of Covid. What i did see of the inside was very clean looking but i did only go to the front and order my food to go. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I ordered 2 shredded beef tacos and she pointed out that they had a taco meal that came with 3 tacos, beans and rice for around $10. i went ahead and ordered that. Soon i had my food and was back on the road. I was surprised that it was on nice study and large aluminum tray with a lid. This made eating in my car very easy without making a mess. Tacos are not a car friendly food, i usually make Big mess when the taco shell breaks and some lands on my lap and in the seat. But not this time. The food was good, but all i ordered was the one meal and that is what I'm reviewing only i have no knowledge of what the menu even looks like or what's even on it. What i do know is my meal was very good and the portion size was enough to share with my husband.

We were greeted and sat at a nice table by a window. When the server came back my wife mentioned how extensive the menu was and I think she thought my wife said the menu was expensive. We are not going to let the rest of our dining experience have a negative impact on a simple miscommunication and we are going to give them a second chance. The food was ok.

Rancho Viejo is our favorite Mexican food on the Wild Rivers Coast (Northern California/Southern Oregon). Friendly, family run, a delicious experience every time we visit. Surprise!... the bill is lower than you expect. Solid portions... if you leave hungry, it's your fault.
This evening, we had our 5 month-old grandson with us. The owner's 3 yr old daughter rushed up to the table, peeped over the baby's head for a look, and with all the disdain she could muster, announced "I don't have time for this!"... and rushed off down the aisle. We all nearly died laughing!! Oh, for a video of that moment... viral for sure!
Lunch and dinner specials, "fishbowl" margaritas, right on Hy 101... Definitely a great choice. Enjoy!!
