So I have driven by this place a thousand times. I went there today and had dinner and OMG it was the best Mexican food I have had on the coast. The waitress was sweet and on the ball with refills. The tortillas are handmade and were so good. The beans and rice were fresh. I would recommend this place x 100👌 . I will be going back!!

My family was visiting the area and came here for dinner. I was so peasantly surprised. Food was outstanding! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Service was friendly and food came out fast. Would totally recommend it here!

Beautiful interior to this restaurant makes for a great atmosphere. Artfully carved and painted chairs and tables.
**The burritos aren’t the huge ones that I’ve come to expect from Mexican restaurants but that was okay with me since I can never finish those things anyway.
All but one of us got something off the “specials” menu and our total for 6 people had my husband checking over the receipt to make sure they hadn’t forgotten to add anything on to it.
The service was friendly and our guests were impressed that our waitress got our entire order correct without writing any of it down.
We couldn’t find a kids menu so the kids ate my rice and beans and I ordered a side of tortillas for them. The waitress brought a book for them to read/look at while we waited.

We had an exceptional experience here and will be returning.
I also walked through their buffet before leaving and there was a lot of food and a lot of options. It looked like it would definitely be worth the stop if you have a couple hungry people.

We had lunch and our choices were each great, good fast service. We will go back many more times while we stay in Brookings for six months.

La Flor de Mexico in Brookings, Oregon is a great spot to stop in off the famous Highway 101 for a meal with family or friends. The family who owns and operates the restaurant is awesome! I've been knowing them a long time now, since back when I used to live in the apartment above the restaurant and slip downstairs for their "all you can eat" lunch buffet!

These days I see them regularly for deliveries. I own and operate Hurry In Curry Delivery Service here in Brookings. Two popular delivery items from La Flor de Mexico are the "Pollo a la Diabla," and the "Steak & Prawn fajitas." The "Idaho Nachos" are lovely too!

This is a GEM of a restaurant!! The service is on point, the ambiance is perfect and the food is unbelievable! Fantastic Cadillac margaritas too. My kids begged to go back the next day. LOVE this restaurant.

Excellent Food, service, and atmosphere. The sopa piaz at the end of dinner were an excellent surprise.

Excellent Mexican restaurant with a fun, vibrant atmosphere and it also happens to be the only restaurant in Brookings proper with an ocean view. Good food, friendly service and a great full menu, including some "American" options for picky eaters. Our favorite dishes are the chili rellenos, steak or shrimp fajitas and the steak salad.
La Flor is a consistently great dining experience, regardless of party size. No matter if I've gone with my immediate family (5 to 8 of us), dates with my husband, or our most recent visit, where they graciously hosted 22 of us, including a few young children. We always leave happy. So glad this wonderful, family-owned restaurant is in our community.

Large portions at a good price. Good TexMex food. Detailed artwork on the walls. Nice atmosphere. Cool welcoming alligator. Fried ice cream was delicious and large for sharing.

The chips and salsa are amazing, the veggie fajitas and margaritas are delicious, the service is superb. Perfect place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends.

I absolutely adore this little restaurant; I’ve been coming here at least twice a month for the last two years and plan to continue doing so. The lady who runs it is always super sweet and has a big smile for her guests. The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and comes in large portions so you’ll usually have leftovers for another meal. The atmosphere inside is fun for dining in as a group, but if you want to do takeout, they offer quick service for that, too! Highly recommend if you want a filling dinner with lots of options and fresh flavors!
