Khun Thai (Brookings OR)

We enjoyed Khun Thai twice during our visit to Brookings. You can dine in the front or head to the back half and enjoy service from Cyrus and Alexander, we enjoyed both sides equally. The food was great and the service was spot on. Like many of the restaurant's in this area, the interior is a bit dated but that doesn't take away from the food and service.

One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to! Amazing service, food was fast, and the food was way better than other thai restaurants. I highly recommend the drunken noodles with tofu. Very amazing establishment.

Really very good place for food in US-101 at Brooking. Food Tastes good. Very clean atmosphere. Staff are very friendly in receiving and serving. We really had doubt about spice level. But even medium spice also like above mild. Spices looks like very fresh and softly cooked. I can suggest it to my friends and family in their next travel to visit this place.

I should say about toilets too. Very clean like home.

Who knew... the best cashew chicken was in Brookings, Oregon. We also had great pot stickers and a coconut seafood curry... and it was presented in a coconut. We happen in on a live band too. What a great place for Thai and entertainment.

we stopped by khun thai on our west coast road trip. the food is flavorful, service is fast, and the staff is so friendly! highly recommend the veggie tempura and drunken noodles. really exceeded our expectations - this is the best restaurant in brookings! 🥰

We were able to sit on the patio, with our dog. The food was very good, the prices were good, especially for the area, and service was good. Definitely a great place for Thai food. I had Orange Chicken and my husband had Yellow Curry. Both were delicious!

The food was really good and the staff were friendly. The mango sticky rice was fantastic and came out heart shaped!

This place was at the right spot, around noon in the last town in Oregon. Hadn’t seen a place serve lemongrass chicken over pad thai, so had to try it. Both dishes involved were made quite well, and they kept up rather well here. Spice level around what I’m used to for the numbers too. Nice restaurant to go to.

So glad we have Khun Thai here in a Brookings! They have a great menu, great food and an awesome staff. My family gets dinner to-go at least twice a month from this restaurant and they never disappoint. We also make it a point to go there at least once a month on a Saturday night so we can enjoy live music. There are some wonderful local performers that frequent the stage and it's always a good time. Family favorites include Pad Thai, yellow curry, and their new chicken satay salad, but everything on the menu is fantastic!

This is a family favorite place when on vacation in honor of a deceased parent who loved it! There is something for everyone's taste and the servers are quick to ask how spicy or not you want it. Plenty on the portions and seating (we had 7 adults, 2 boosters, and 1 high chair).prices are reasonable.

Absolutely amazing experience! My officiant friend suggested here while we were between weddings at the coast. The food and service were incredible. The portions were so big too!

The best Curry I have ever eaten! Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are fair, the restaurant was large and inviting.
Update still the best Thai food in the area! Everything we try is delicious, we travel from Humboldt just to eat here! On this trip we tried the Basil fried rice, Panang curry and a hot pot. Oh the crab fried rice is a must!

Traveling thru, from Gold Beach, wanted Thai food, this is the best, what a gem of a find, had the spicy beef and green beans w/ jasmine rice, and spicy Basil crispy chicken with jasmine rice, everything was very fresh, and a very nice atmosphere, with live music, the servers very friendly, will be back, soon. Want to try more, of a good thing, many good choices on the menu

Absolutely love the food the restaurant itself is a labyrinth of different seating areas parking is tricky don't miss the turn in but there's a lot of parking! Food is top notch and off the charts loved it. And love the decor down in the main bar will be going back many times more👍👊😍

Best food flavorful, always fresh, and cooked to order. The services is fantastic. This is a must when is Brookings Oregon.

Got a recommendation of this place and tried it. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious.

The entrance is a bit tricky, use the lane after the restaurant to enter if you are coming in from Brookings downtown.

We tried Papaya salad, Seafood claypot and Yakisoba noodles along with Thai tea. Papaya salad was great, a little spicy. Seafood claypot was a bunch of seafood in Thai yellow curry.. which was delicious.

Highly recommend it if you are passing through Brookings. Price is decent too.

12-19-21 Stopped in on the way through town. Saw the positive reviews. Let me say: OUTSTANDING!! it was only 5pm so they weren't busy yet. The service was quick and friendly. This food was Delicious! Kuhn Thai WILL be integrated into our next weekend getaway!
