Stick Shift Driving School

Ed was an excellent instructor-- firm and clear instructions with great attention to good habits. I was driving comfortably in traffic within the 2 hours! This was great preparation for a road trip in Europe as someone who has never driven with a manual transmission before.

Mr Ed was a really great instructor! I was a little nervous at first but within a few minutes of listening to him and practicing what he was teaching, I gained a lot more confidence. He made sure I was comfortable driving around in a residential area with lots of hills and turns! After that I drove in the city like a pro! Highly recommended!!!

Great instructor. Within minutes he had corrected what I was doing wrong And for the rest of the session I was able to master it. I now feel comfortable on any hill. Can’t recommend this enough !

Ed fully delivered on his promise of getting me (a novice at driving a stick) out into traffic in just two hours. His expectations are high, and his teaching style is firm, which can be helpful, but may also add pressure for those who, like me, need time to process and coordinate a set of new details. He's a no-nonsense instructor, and his tone occasionally came across as frustrated when new or different instructions were not followed confidently, even from the very beginning.

However, all the essential bases were covered within the time, and by the second hour, I felt I had made some great gains. Efficient, helpful, and overall a great resource for anyone looking to learn how to drive a stick shift.
