I booked a trip with Finz Dive as a birthday adventure. I have never tried scuba diving before and I was a little nervous. Our trainer Nick was very knowledgeable and listened carefully to every concern I had. It was very easy to get comfortable with him. Capitan Amy was super fun! Our boat ride was smooth and comfortable. Amy even had motion sickness bracelets and glasses that helped a lot and made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience and I highly recommend Nick and Amy! Super nice and easygoing people!

Four of us did the private Dry Tortugas charter. Robert and Mason were our captain and guide. This was the highlight of our Florida Keys trip. I wanted to get to Fort Jefferson regardless and this package adding snorkeling and Loggerhead Key worked out great. Robert and Mason are very knowledgeable and served as excellent guides. Make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen and dry long sleeves would be great for the 2-hour ride out and back due to the wind. Highly recommend the Dry Tortugas trip with FINZ.

Our experience was 5 stars with this dive center in Key West. The team is friendly and professional. Me and my husband dived yesterday afternoon, coral and wreck. Both were awesome experiences. Today, like a cheers on the top, we dived in the spectacular Vandenberg wreck. Other marvelous times that we're bringing to our home, Brazil. Thanks a lot for your attention. See you some day. Definitely I recommend this company.

Had a wonderful day at the Dry Tortugas with Amy and Nick! We got to Fort Jefferson before the ferry. Had the island to ourselves. Amy gave us a great history lesson of the fort and then we headed out to 3 awesome dives! Windjammer wreck and 2 others. Saw a shark! An enormous grouper. Ride back was glass but the ride out was super comfortable with the bean bags. Wonderful day!!!

I went down to Key West to meet friends from NY, NJ, and MA to do some diving. We dove with Finz on two separate days and they were amazing. I have been diving over 30 years and I have never had a better experience on a dive boat. The first day Justin was our captain and Rob was the dive master and the second day Amy was the captain and Justin was the dive master and we had so much fun both days. Amy told jokes all day and both Rob and Justin made sure I was able to get some great pictures.

Our experience with Finz Dive Center was truly the highlight of our trip! We were a group of four: two newly certified divers and two snorkelers, and we opted for the Dry Tortugas private experience. Everything was incredibly customizable, and the entire journey was seamless from start to finish.

The rental process was a breeze, thanks to Stew, who helped us get our kits and snorkel gear ready the day before our dive. Access to the Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson was unparalleled. We arrived before the first public boat, allowing us to explore the fort in peace for the first hour, aside from a few campers and sea plane passengers.

We completed two dives at Iowa Rock and the Windjammer Wreck Site, both had stunning wildlife, including a few different types of sharks (Caribbean Reef and Nurse). The day concluded with private access to Loggerhead Key, which was simply magical.

The real stars of our adventure were Captain Amy and Dive Master Madison. Captain Amy ensured our safety was paramount and flawlessly managed the entire experience. As newly certified divers, we felt completely at ease with DM Madison. She never pushed us beyond our limits and made sure we witnessed the incredible marine life around us. We felt safe and supported throughout, making our first dives unforgettable.

The only slight downside was our initial encounter at the shop with Rob (I think that's his name), who was not the friendliest at such an early hour. His condescending tone was off-putting, but thankfully, Captain Amy and DM Madison turned the experience around.

Overall, Finz Dive Center provided an exceptional experience, and Captain Amy and DM Madison made it truly special. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to go out with Captain Justin and Dive Master Amy yesterday. Family of four, two teenage boys, my wife and I. They were an amazing combo, put us right on a couple of great wrecks and took care of all of our needs. Very safety conscious, very adventure seeking dive team. I would recommend Finz charters to any of my friends that wanted a great dive experience in the Keys.

We took a full day private tour to the Dry Tortugas with Kelly and Taylor today. We had an amazing time. Taylor was our Johnny On the Spot Dive Master. So much fun and so professional! Also, she gave us an exceptional private tour of Fort Jefferson as if she was the caretaker over there. Incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun. Plus there were no tourists there (other than us)
We toured and then we took a dive on the Texas reef, and then hit the Windjammer and had lunch later at Loggerhead key which was amazing. These guys were such great guides.
Later we headed back and dove for Lovett’s off of Key West for 40 minutes. So much fun!!
Taylor and Kelly were both great hosts and super professional.
If you’re looking for a trio of a lifetime you should really consider a day at Dry Tortugas and the only way to go is a private tour. I can’t speak to the other guides but these guys at Finz, Taylor and Kelly, were as good as I’ve ever been with. Thank you for making our trip!

I booked a private charter for myself and my 2 adult children out to Dry Tortugas and it was fantastic - worth every penny. Although the point of our trip was to visit Fort Jefferson, the private snorkeling adventure and beach lunch were an added bonus and made for an amazing day.

We got to Fort Jefferson prior to the park ferry, so with the exception of a few other visitors we had the place to ourselves. Our tour captain - Amy - was so knowledgeable about the history of the fort and the island. Didn’t expect to get our own private tour so that was a pleasant surprise!

Amy and Mike made the day magical - took us to the perfect snorkeling spot off Loggerhead Key where we were able to snorkel above a ship wreck (bucket list!) and saw amazing fish and underwater life up close.

We were then taken to a very private beach where Amy set up an umbrella for shade (nice touch!) and we had lunch. More snorkeling off the island and the reefs were amazing!

Can’t say enough about the service and how the day was all about us and what we wanted to do. My kids had never snorkeled before and it has been many years since for me - plus we are not really “boat” people - so I was worried that we would be too inexperienced for this, but Amy was sooooo kind and patient with us. Everything was well explained to us before we left the dock so we knew what to expect.

I want to add that I received multiple phone calls from Finz prior to us getting to Key West asking if we had questions and making sure we were ready for the day which made me much more comfortable about booking something online without prior knowledge of the company.

If you are on the fence about booking with Finz, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. Again, worth every penny.

Thanks again to Amy and Mike for a day I will never forget. The GoPro pictures and videos were invaluable!

We just got back from a diving trip in Dry Tortuga's National Park. Captains Rob and Justin did a great job getting us out and back safely and showing us some of the dive sites that the park has to offer. We saw some giant groupers, dolphins, and a wide variety of smaller marine life.

I almost don't want to leave this review, because I like to keep the best well known secrets to myself... But these guys are the Best choice for a K.W. scuba diving operator. This operation is my go to for setting up a public (6pack) Afternoon Vandenburg Wreck Double dip. Guide is included if you want it. They are a very experienced and safe oriented dive operator. Smaller groups here too. They have a fantastic fast comfortable boat setup great for all types of scuba diving, spearfishing, lobstering or day trips. The double hull really makes it glide thru the ocean. They cater to your schedule...Finz is the only operator I know here that will setup an afternoon Vandenburg dive where you don't have to charter the whole boat. But they do..do whole boat charters here if that's what your looking for. This group rocks! They are so helpful and know just what to do to make your time here the best!

Very grateful for the Finz team. They were able to move things around and make an epic Dry Tortugas trip work for our group! Rob, Robert and Sam were so helpful in planning over the phone. Captain Amy and Nick make our trip unforgettable! We felt safe under their care and enjoyed all the dad jokes from Captain. Nick even caught some lion fish that we were able to take to a local restaurant. Highly recommend!

We did a private super fishing charter with Finz and we couldn't have been happier. The stuff and crew were a pleasure to work with. They were knowledgeable and very helpful with all of our needs. We would definitely use them again.

This was my third time diving with Finz and once again, it did not disappoint! All of the staff is always so friendly and helpful, providing a wonderful experience. Amy was an excellent captain, and her witty one-liners made my day. Nick was a great dive master and made everyone comfortable in the water. He was even kind enough to share some of the Lionfish he speared with me to take home for dinner. I love the fact that they keep the dive groups small, and there is always a dive master in the water with you. Everyone at Finz is top-notch and I would highly recommend diving with them.

Our family spent the day snorkeling, it was or first time and Captain Amy, Nick and Jason did a wonderful job showing us around Dry Tortuga. Not only were we able to explore Dry Tortuga and Loggerhead, they also brought us to some other wonderful locations. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommend their services.

NOTE: If you take Uber, make sure they take you to the correct location. Finz is not in Hurricane Hole. Don't get dropped off there.

That out of the way, it's a great shop with super helpful people. They include a divemaster on their dives, which was a selling point for me with my limited experience. The boat, equipment, and gear was all in good condition. The dives were fun and reefs looked healthy.

We had a great time going to Dry Tortugas with Ashley as a guide. Between the sea plane, ferry, and tour with FINZ, this was the way to go to the Dry Tortugas. Ashley did everything and took good care of us! We had an amazing tour of the fort and private snorkeling tour of coral reefs off of an pristine secluded island. Ashley’s knowledge was incredible. She was a history buff at the fort with an amazing tour with all the facts and interesting stories of it’s history. She was and ocean expert with amazing details on all the creatures and fish we saw. Catered lunch was incredibly fresh and lots of snacks. This was such a great day for our family while visiting the Keys

I rarely, if ever, post reviews. When I read reviews, I usually discard the highest and lowest as they are sometimes inflated. This review, however, is only 5 stars because they do not go any higher. Here goes...it is a little long. We were looking for a "bucket list" dive trip to celebrate a family occasion, but we were constrained to a certain timeframe. We started looking at the Caribbean resorts, Mexico, but when we searched "best dive trips", the Dry Tortugas popped up...and that led us to Finz Dive Center. When we booked this trip, the Center was very helpful, stayed in communication with us, made sure all paperwork was squared away, lunch was set up, everything. When we arrived, we met Captain Amy and Divemaster Nick. Nick got us fitted out while Captain Amy prepped the boat. To be honest, I felt bad that they were working so hard to make this trip happen, while we watched...and they refused every offer to help. When we arrived at the boat, Nick had everything setup, and Captain Amy made final underway preparations. Their actions were efficient, professional, and Captain Amy had a never ending supply of Dad jokes to keep us paying attention and engaged to safety briefs and boat operations. We were going 70 miles away to a place with zero support, so safety was paramount and Captain Amy and Divemaster Nick took that very seriously. We took a 2 hour uneventful trip (a very good thing) to Fort Jefferson, where Divemaster Nick transformed into Tour Guide Nick. I think Tour Guide Nick knows more about Fort Jefferson than the Park Rangers...all of us really enjoyed the "private" tour ahead of the ferry arrival of 200+ people...we were a group of 5 (including Nick) out of maybe 20 total people on island (overnight campers). Unbelievable views and an amazing time, and we did not even start our dives! After the tour, we took a short trip to the Windjammer wreck. Divemaster Nick conducted the perfect "Plan your Dive, Dive your Plan" brief, and then we proceeded to gear up. Captain Amy made sure we were set up and good to go, then we started the dive. And what started as a fantastic trip became even better....the Windjammer wreck is a shallow dive and was incredible to see so much wildlife. Having dove hundreds of times off S Florida, this was such an incredible difference! Divemaster Nick made sure we we all safe, together, and kept his situational awareness high. After the Windjammer, we had lunch on Loggerhead Key. What a surreal experience...not another person on the Key, just us, enjoying a great lunch from Sandy's (get the Cuban!) while relaxing on the beach. After lunch we headed on another short trip to Davis Reef (about 45 feet deep). This is where we learned that Captain Amy has a Taylor Swift collection on her download music list. It was a a blast to have Taylor Swift blasting and watching my teenage kids and Captain Amy (and maybe my wife and I?) singing and doing a little dancing while transiting to our dive site. Captain Amy and Divemaster Nick prepped us for the next dive with the same level of efficiency and professionalism as the first dive, and down we went. INCREDIBLE! Even more wildlife than the Windjammer...at one point we looked up and saw huge schools of fish forming a "ceiling" above us....it was so mesmerizing we took a few minutes to just watch....truly amazing. After our dive, packed up and headed back, we definitely did not want to leave. Well, good reader if you have made it this far, let me tell you scuba diving is inherently dangerous, and if you do dive, safety is by far and away the #1 priority. That was obvious with Captain Amy and Divemaster Nick. They are so good at what they do, you just inherently know that safety is #1, and you have an incredible time with them. If you have an opportunity to dive With Captain Amy, Divemaster Nick and the Finz Dive Center, do not hesitate. Do it. Just don't bring bananas on board as a snack.
