Margaritaville Beach House Key West

Our group of 10 stayed here for the second year in a row and were treated like royalty. Rooms are great, Jason at the bar made sure everyone had a great time. Pablo and Mimi made our time so special. Perfect access to the beach where we saw so much wildlife. And the shuttle ran every hour to visit all our favorite places downtown. Planning on making this a yearly trip because we have made such great memories here. Thank you staff!

The people are what make this hotel special. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very nice, but the team who makes it all happen are above and beyond what is expected.

Mimi is a wonderful representative for the brand, and more importantly, she is a kind person. We had many travel mishaps that led to our not making it to the hotel in time to keep our reservation. I called in a panic and was connected with Mimi who was compassionate, calm and reassuring while doing everything in her power to make sure that our room would be there for us. Her professionalism is top-notch as is the rest of the team. Claudia is also wonderfully helpful and nice. The airport shuttle driver is very good and handled our baggage with care.

We stayed twice at this hotel and we loved the location: it is right in front of the largest public beach in Key West and it is conveniently away from Duval Street and the chaotic downtown area. However there is a shuttle that brings the guest every hour to downtown! Rooms are nice and the kids loved the pool area. Very nice staff!

My husband and I spent a week in Key West. The vacation ends today.
We spent six days at The Gates and one day at Margaritaville. The difference was remarkable! Unlike The Gates, every single member of the staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than the usual check in time and the manager made sure the room was ready and since we had to wait we were given a room upgrade at no additional cost.
The room was beautiful and clean. We will definitely return, and we highly recommend staying where you will be treated like a true welcome guest!

Great hotel, definitely felt like a resort. There is some construction between the hotel and Smathers beach but you can walk directly across the street from the hotel entrance, so it's not that big of a deal.

What a beautiful resort! This is not the hotel for quiet seekers, there is music piped throughout the hotel. Fun flip flop selfie spot. Love the art in the rooms with song quotes. When you want something different than the pool, cross the road to Smathers beach. Their restaurant also happens to have one of the best key lime pies in the Keys! Coconut shrimp was also really good. Shuttle to the downtown is also super convenient. @thefloridakeys

It's expensive, so know that going into a Key West resort. Margaritaville is located about 100 yards from the beach. Great food and service, shuttles run everywhere on the island. Food is expensive everywhere as well. Very fun or relaxing whichever you prefer. 😎

We loved our stay at Margaritaville! The staff was very accommodating, the bar cocktails were great, and we were provided the items requested/needed (crib, etc.). It is a bit of a distance from Duval and some other attractions but they offer a shuttle that runs all day that brings you to upper duval and you can access the main attractions that way. We loved it and will definitely stay again!

Away from downtown. The rooms were good, but the AC smelled like chlorine. Fun pool and deck area. Breakfast was very good, as was the service. Beach across the street was great for a night walk in the moon light.

Checking in was good. However, they don't have bellboys to assist in bringing your luggage to your room.

Also, we spent some time trying to figure out where our room was. There were no visible signs for the buildings.

Everything else was good. Every food that we ordered was delicious. I'm not sure they're set up for room service though. We've experienced room service at different hotels and what we got here was more of a take out order.

Big,clean,comfortable rooms. Would recommend on rooms only. Pool area was a little crowded because of the size. They served warm cookies and infused water in the afternoon and had fruity frozen drinks at the pool periodically. Nice touches for sure.

Great location across the street from the beach. Easy access to parking and a shuttle into town. The rooms were very nice, as was the pool and bar/restaurant.

We had a great time here. From the bus ride from the airport to the bus ride back to the airport. Love the free margaritas, cookies, fruit-infused water and coffee every day. All the staff were great. We loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. The shuttle too and from town is very convenient and we used it a lot. Great decor and vibes. Very fun place.

The food and atmosphere were amazing!!! If it’s raining hard, don’t sit outside next the glass. I saw the gutters overflow on a table.

Spent the weekend here for my best friends wedding (as guests- we stayed down the road) and the staff was absolutely amazing (although I met a few rude guests). Free guest parking was such a plus. The lobby smells sooo good, the restaurant food and bar drinks were delicious. Lobby has fruit water and coffee to help yourself to as well. Service was fantastic. Pool was clean and they have ice water right by it to help yourself to, plus complimentary pool towels. There’s cornhole, hammocks, giant connect 4. The staff and coordinators that worked the wedding and brunch the next morning were absolutely wonderful. They made the wedding even better I swear! I’m so glad my friends picked this place!! It’s also right across from the beach which was a plus too.

My family and I have spent the last week here. Let’s start by saying we have a 9 and 12 yr old. They like their space and so do we. We got the one bedroom suite that had a pullout couch for them. What’s awesome is there are doors between the rooms. So privacy was achieved. Plenty of space and lots of storage in the bathroom. The food was great the pool was great. Beach is just across the street. We didn’t care for the that beach so we paid 7 to drive about the 6 mins down the road to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. It’s worth the $7. We have ate ALOT. they offer a shuttle to and from downtown. We have had the absolute best week. There is a pier not to far the the hotel where you can fish or just sit and watch. ❤❤❤ this trip was perfect. Rooms were cleaned daily. Landscaping is beautiful. Food is alittle pricey but perfect for eating by the pool. Towels for pool are provided.

Everything about my stay here was wonderful! The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and accommodating. The restaurant and bar downstairs is amazing! The bar tender outside was very great at his job and so friendly. Beautifully accommodated my dog as well. I would definitely recommend staying here. My one and only complaint is that the bar/restaurant isn't open later than 10pm! But it's no big deal because you can hop on the complimentary shuttle to Duval St where they'll have drinks and food until 4am!

Very nice hotel, staff is very friendly and welcoming. The shuttle to town was great, leaves every hour from hotel and half hour from town. Restaurant was very nice actually! Well priced and good food. Some staff extremely nice, some just there to get the work done. It’s a bit off from town but so close to a wonderful beach!!
