Havana Cabana Key West

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a 2 queen bedroom. Room was big enough for 4 people. Bathroom and shower size was great too. We had an issue with toilet as soon as we got there but maintenance took care of it while we went out for dinner. They do have a shuttle that takes you to downtown key west and back to the hotel. Only downside is that it’s first come first serve. Downtown key west bit of a walk so really option to walk. The hotel is right off the water but not beach-front. Pool area in the hotel was great. Had tons of lounging space and dj during the day. Bar was great too. They made really good drinks. Mojitos were our favorites.

Absolutely beautiful place! Staff is amazing! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Everything was very clean, soon as we walked thru the door we could tell that we were going to be satisfied with our stay.
The whole place has a feel-good relaxed vibe to it. The decor is very expressive and unique.
If we ever make it back down to the Keys, we'll definitely stay there again.

Great space, lots of well-kept grounds. Helpful, friendly staff, and the shuttle service downtown was so nice. They also run you to the airport if you pre-arrange that trip. Excellent place. Comfy beds, and clean /quiet.

This one is the best one where I have stayed in America. I stayed here with my brother's family in November 2023. The rooms were super clean and the maintenance was top-notch. Almost everything was provided. They even had a pool, but unfortunately, I did not know how to swim. They played good music and everyone around the pool were having a lot of fun. Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. A shuttle leaves at every half an hour between morning 8 am to evening 6 or 7 pm. So, that kept us covered for most of our travel. Plus, you can visit stores like Publix, Winn Dixie and more that in walkable distance from this hotel. This one has a sea-facing entrance, so you can even go on refreshing morning walks. The best part of our stay in Key West was this hotel and the ambiance of its pool. Loved every minute of our stay.

Amazing vibe! Big warm pool. Hot tub, fitness center is not here on site, but can use one at another facility. Good bar and food. Comfy beds and pillows were too thick for my liking.

My daughter and her BFF enjoyed a spring break here. Superb pool area with a DJ there in the afternoons. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us the tip to take an Uber when the hotel shuttle was late so we could get to our sunset cruise on-time.

This place is absolutely amazing !! The employees took such great care of us and showed wonderful hospitality! The one employee helped me find agave plant for my sunburn. The other employee was kind enough to move our room due to construction that was going on right outside of us. I would HIGHLY suggest getting room on the bayside. The rooms are very very well kept and clean. The pool & bar is just absolutely amazing ! They have a food truck that serves breakfast , lunch , and dinner. There is a shuttle specifically for Havana Cabana , that arrives every 30 minutes to pick people up from the resort If individuals want to go to downtown key west. The shuttle also arrives at a specific spot in downtown key west every 30 minutes as well! My wife and I definitely will be coming back again for our vacation !

Visited this SUPER UNIQUE property these past few days. We were greeted by Nataly which was so nice and informative, her costumer service is impeccable, very helpful. The property was very beautiful, no elevators on property which isn’t a problem, it’s only two stories high. There were snacks by the pool area every single day, my favorite were orange cream popsicles which were handed out to every guest, made it feel so welcoming and familiar. We later spoke to Laura, the concierge about moped rentals and other activities we could do. She was very informative and inviting, definitely check her out when deciding on restaurant options or activities. The pool bar guys were awesome as well, made sure the drinks were delicious and strong. There was also a shuttle service, which was free, every half hour which was very convenient when getting around (please tip your driver). We decided on a moped and it’s a MUSTTTTT! Overall our stay was very pleasant never a dull moment at this hotel, definitely recommend! Thank you Nataly and Laura!

We found the hotel so welcoming since the beginning. We received a very nice treatment from each one of the staff members, specially Maria and Ron, who
genuinely took care of all our requests. We mentioned we were newly married and they immediately brought a congratulations champagne bottle to our room. They also gave us very informative suggestions about Key West restaurants, tours, bars and historical places to visit.

They have a nice pool area where they sometimes offer complementary drinks and parties. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the city centre every 30 minutes, which is a very convenient way to get to downtown without a hassle.

This place made us feel at home.

This hotel is a really gem and we enjoyed every single minute of our stay. When you come to your room, you find a pair of sunglasses on your bed as a gift. Which we thought was really good because my partner forgot his. :-) Nice Gimick
The rooms are clean and nice decorated. You'll find everything you need for your weekend getaway.
The pool is also clean and you can enjoy some live music in the afternoon.
If you like to party at night or do some sightseeing during the day, there is a shuttle service free of charge offered by the hotel too.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone to do it also.

My wife and I stay at your resort for 7 nights and absolutely loved the property. The Pool area is one of the best pools we have encountered. We are normally beach bums but we hung out all day at the pool for three or four days. It definitely gives off the island vibe. We looked forward to our frozen drink and our 2:00 pm popsicle. All of the DJ`s were outstanding. The room was very spacious and clean and we had the best view of the magnificent POOL. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. The entire staff is professional , knowledgeable and so nice. I am a former Guest Service Manager at a 4 star resort so customer service is my specialty. Your entire staff was very attentive, helpful, hard working always will to go the extra mile. We encountered a lot of staff members but the following stood out the most to us: Nick( Pool ) is hands down our favorite staff team member, VLAD, Ruslan, Kostya (Bar) very good at their profession, Nataly, Chris, Laura, David and Jackie were all outstanding. All of the staff was very detailed oriented. Thank you for offering a shuttle service, we used the service daily and we were sure to tip each time. It should be required to leave a tip in my eyes. It would have cost a lot more to uber or taxi. I only have one suggestion on the shuttle. We were unable to open the door from the inside which could become a hazard in the event of an accident. We highly recommend this resort and we will stay here again on our next visit. This was our first trip to Key West and We surely appreciate Havana Cabana Key West for making this one of our best vacations to date. I hope that you will let your staff know that The Kemp`s noticed and appreciate all of their hard work.

Absolutely loved our stay at this Florida resort! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The only downside was the surprise resort fees, but it didn't dampen our experience. We had a blast and are already planning a return trip in the new year. Highly recommend for a memorable getaway!

Not the cheapest place we've stayed, but price was in line with others in the area. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing. Onsite food truck offered tasty food choices and came in handy after a long day of touring. Shuttle service ran on schedule and hotel staff, particularly Nataly and Ruslan, were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

We loved our stay here!!
We had some minor bumps. Checking in, there was water all over our room’s floor! The air conditioner had malfunctioned. Not a great first impression. However, the staff cared and had us moved in less than 5 mins. We got some extra drink cards out of it.
The other issue was ordering their (absolutely fantastic ) breakfast. We waited a long time and finally the guy in charge of that desk said they list the ticket. TBH we had sat out in the heat long enough that we were no longer hungry. They couldn’t have been more apologetic and comped our lunch.
As someone who has worked in service, stuff will go wrong but is how you fix it. I couldn’t ask for more with how this hotel dealt with issues.
The decor, I would generally find tacky, but they did it well! The hotel is beautiful! As was our room.
The outdoor area is stunning! They defiantly pay a large bill for landscaping.
The pool is maintained meticulously.

Possible negatives:
The pool starts out at 3 feet in the shallow end. Not very kid friendly, but for us with a kid… that don’t really like kid friendly places… it worked. My very tall 4 year old was barely comfortable with just his head above water. We made it work though, with lots of supervision. My son had a blast chasing lizards. Also, the staff was great with him! He got constant alerts from the staff about iguana sightings.

“Ocean view” yes. I could see the ocean. There is a 2 lane road and some space from the ocean. Water front view wasn’t quite waterfront. The better view is there stunning pool, but it can be loud at the pool. Balconies are tiny!!!!

The location isn’t by anything but Publix’s and a liquor store (points for the liquor store)

Speaking of alcohol, drinks there will cost a fortune . The bartenders make some great stuff, and I liked them a lot!. However my husband and I getting only “slightly toasty” for 4 nights cost over well over 500 bucks… yes we also went to the liquor store. Drinks at the bar start around 15.00 plus tip.

The location is a bit “out there” but they have a shuttle that runs constantly.

My main negative: no ventilation in the bathroom. I lived with two boys through this….. lol

100% would stay here again.

Little bit far from Duval St, but is good to rent Golf-Cart to travel back and forth, enjoying the weather and view along the road.

Front desk people are very nice and helpful during our check-in. Great vibes all day!

Beds and pillows are a bit rough but just go soak in the hot tub to loosen up. Great service here and everyone is very friendly. Very happy staying here...

Great hotel. The pool was really good, a little paradise to enjoy house made drinks and and food, that didnt disapointed. The service was great too. There are shuttles going to the Dowtown area running every 30mins until 1030pm, the drivers are nice and friendly, as well as the hotel staff.
