Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel

We had an unexpectedly wonderful experience staying at this property. We were initially concerned with a few negative reviews but decided to take a chance that our experience would be different. It was in fact very different. In full disclosure I am a Platinum rewards member and the room I booked for five nights originally was not the room we ultimately received. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony and resort view. The booked room had no view. We had great food and service. Would definitely come back based on this experience.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Ocean View in Key West and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff, particularly Patrick, the manager, was outstanding in answering our questions and ensuring a smooth stay. Melissa in reservations was incredibly helpful, assisting us with sorting out our points efficiently and professionally.

The Presidential Suite where we stayed was beyond expectations - luxurious, spacious, and offering breathtaking views. It truly added an extra layer of opulence to our vacation.

Key West itself was a joy to explore. We took advantage of the Marriott's convenient location, either riding our bikes or taking the hotel shuttle to town twice daily. The town's super fun atmosphere and scenic beauty were highlights of our trip.

A special mention must go to Lisel, our concierge, who provided invaluable assistance and recommendations, enhancing our Key West experience. Additionally, Andrei in dining deserves praise for his exceptional service, making our meal times delightful.

In summary, our time at the Marriott Ocean View in Key West was filled with memorable moments, largely thanks to the wonderful staff and the luxurious accommodations. We left feeling refreshed and would eagerly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in Key West.

We had an amazing time at Ket West Marriott Beachside. Our room was super clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need for our short stay.
There’s an hourly shuttle to Duval St that picks up until after 11PM included with your stay.
Plenty of food options around the hotel
If you don’t want to pay Duval St prices for every meal.
A couple of the water sports companies leave from their dock. We tried the Night Kayaking and had a blast.
The pool is super clean and warm along with the hot tub and there’s even beach access beyond the pool.
We’d love to come back - but it seems ver recently (the day after we left?) it changed ownership. Don’t see it on the Marriott app any longer.

This was our first visit to Key West and we were very impressed by the service received. We were immediately greeted with a refreshment upon entering the lobby. We arrived early so our room was not available yet, so we ventured to the pool area for some food and drinks. We were helped by Angela who was AMAZING. Great service and wished we could have returned to see her again. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and were blown away by the size of the beach side room. The morning of check out we stopped by the restaurant inside and received more amazing service from Anna. AMAZING service with amazing breakfast food.

Our only constructive criticism is our room wasn't ready when we arrived and were told we would receive a call when the room was ready or by 4pm when check in time was scheduled, but were told someone would call us regardless. We returned at 3:30pm to find the lobby full of several other guests there to check in. We never received a call, so we hopped back in line at 4pm hoping to get an update on our room. The room was ready, but we never got the promised call. I would suggest telling guests in the future to just return at 4pm.

Isaiah, our event coordinator, was exceptional in guiding us through the venue's details and ensuring we had everything in place for our beachside event. His thorough explanations were invaluable. Despite the complexity of our 22-person extreme endurance event concluding there, the staff remained impressively professional.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Isaiah for orchestrating the final Mile reception at such short notice. He went above and beyond to make it happen seamlessly. His dedication and swift action made our event a success.

We stayed at the Marriott Ocean View in Key West for one night. Our flight was overbooked and JetBlue put us up in this hotel. We were very happy with the look and feel of this hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and looked good. The grounds were well maintained and had a beautiful, but small beach area. Hotel restaurant was very nice, and if you go on your birthday it is a little lest expensive. The Hotel is further away from Duval St than we liked, but they provided a shuttle that went until 1000pm. Unlike other hotels, there was a shuttle from the Airport. Also, Angel Torres, the Reservations Manager, was exceedingly helpful. JetBlue had not sent over the voucher for our stay, we provided Mr. Torres with the supervisors number at the airport and he was able to rectify the situation. He went above and beyond. We initially stayed at another hotel in the area of old town, but will stay here when we return.

We have stayed at this resort many times over the years. It truly did not disappoint this time again. Manager, Angel Torres, was absolutely kind and accommodating. He has an excellent staff and they provide exceptional service. Both restaurants were delicious and Angel provided us with super nice accommodations for the week. Although it is off the main strip, it is still a beautiful resort on the water with a beach and chairs to lounge. It also has a marina where you have different boating options for rent. It’s Only minutes to Duval. You Can Drive, Uber, or the hotel shuttle runs every hour. Great happy hour at the main bar providing 2 for 1 drinks. Cannot be more grateful to Angel & his staff!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Went there for 2nd year wedding anniversary and we really appreciated special treatment. They have shuttle to downtown area all day long and beach right off the rooms.

As a Christmas present for our family this year we took a trip to Key West. We researched thoroughly and decided on Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel. It was a wise choice. The hotel is close to the airport so being picked up was very easy.
Jesse, the gentleman at the front desk, worked extra hard to make sure we got checked in and didn't have to switch rooms on any days. We were a party of six and reserved a three bedroom suite. The suite was AMAZING. Jesse was able to get us an ocean view and it was very nice. It also worked out perfectly when we did our night kayaking tour because we could walk right down to the beach from our room.
Lisel, our concierge, went above and beyond. I called the hotel a week before our stay to get information and see if we needed to make reservations for anything. She was helpful and even gave me her cell number and told me to reach out anytime before or during our stay. She answered all my questions, gave us helpful advice/suggestions and made our reservation for night kayaking.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the first morning there and Indra, our server, was exceptional.
The shuttle runs 8am to 11pm and there are two drop offs. It didn't take us long to get our bearings and figure out which stop was best according to where we wanted to visit.

Great place to stay and close to a lot of things. Hotel runs shuttle hourly to downtown. Pool at hotel is 24/7, a nice perk if you would like to cool down a bit late November at Key West. LOL.

Don’t let the location of this resort steer you away. This is an absolute gem! Extraordinary service, rooms, atmosphere and dining. Absolutely loved!

The BEST decision we made was to choose this hotel! Customer service is beyond expectations. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Service is great too. Location is the best out of all! Not too far from downtown nor airport. Only hotel offer cruise to the downtown. So much activities they help to schedule for you and even shuttle and the drivers are very very helpful friendly and gives great recommendations. You will never regret’

I love the rooms , location and the setting. use to come here a lot before pandemic and everything was 5 stars include services, last time i was there now they allow dog in hotel. for dog lover they may love it but for me I could not sleep because next door had a dog and their dog was misbehaved, dog owner was out party whole night and the dog barking until 3.50AM. Called front desk they tell us to knock at their room beside sending manager or security to check it out what is going on. We had to work as well, my husband had to go to front desk. Then they gave us new room. it was not fair to put people with dog next to other people who don’t have dog. I love dog but i don’t like to listen to dog barking while try to sleep. New Hotel clerks are not very helpful as back then. i am disappointed for last trip but every other trip was 5 stars.

This is a beautiful hotel and I really enjoyed staying here. The unit I stayed in was spacious and beautiful and the rooftop view was a great addition. The grounds were well kept. The pool is large with room for other games like volleyball. The restaurant is classy though to be completely honest the food hadn't made much of an impression on me. There is not much of a beach but that's the keys for you. It is also quite far from the 'party scene' of downtown KW but I actually prefer to be away from that. Close to the airport if you are heading over to Dry Tortuga.

I wish I could give them more Stars. The rooms were nicer and bigger then we expected. I have been to the keys about 20 times and this place is much nicer then anywhere else I have stayed.

Mark, Bob and I believe Jon or Jack, the transport drivers were so kind and helpful. We were concerned about the location as it is on the part of the island away from all the landmarks. We were so happy. On the very timely trips we were talk all about the best places to eat and best times to visit many spots. Bob suggested “Two Friends” for 1/2 price appetizers!

We had a crash in-front of us and were stuck for an hour in traffic. Mark filled the long hour with stories and history from the island and his Family’s experiences shrimping on the island. The 4 kids with us sat a didn’t mind being stuck. Mark made a bad situation, that was out of his control, and made it a great memory.

Do not miss the water taxi! Great views and even better crew. Richard and the team balanced safety and hospitality so well. They went above and beyond to keep everyone happy.

The maids were kind and fast. Kept us stocked up on towels and anything we needed. All smiles even in the hottest part of the day.

The front desk employees filled every request and were kind and helpful 24/7. We could not ask for more. You can tell the pride they had in their Jobs and in the resort!

Best place ever! Room was fantastic and the pool bar was great. Nice place to vaca as a group or anyone!!

Had an excellent time at Happy Hour. The food was tasty and the drink prices made it a good value. Service was very good as well.

I always have a fantastic time when staying at this property! This will be my third year in a row.
The staff is great with customer services, the clean crew is on top of everything, and the property itself is fantastic!
I love that the suites have a 2-story balcony, where you can get even better views of the ocean from anywhere on property.

We stayed here over the 4th of July week and had a great time. The check in staff was really awesome and offered us champagne and an upgraded room that we weren’t expecting. Nice room with a lot of space and a kitchen. Cool 3rd floor balcony that was great for watching the fireworks! Nice pool that stayed busy. Plenty of boat/excursions offered that leave from the waterside.

Excellent location with great staff going over to help you make comfortable... They have their own shuttle & pier for night kayak & fishing, etc.
