Ibis Bay Beach Resort

Cute if small with plenty of hot water. The bird says hello outside the lobby and the turtles eat cactus. The boat is perfect for kids and the activities were tempting but we just ran out of time. Highly recommend for the local adventurous feel and the white secluded beach that is perfect for a young couple for a couple of nights. We drove in from Atlanta and found it easy to park and know their shuttle was a call away if we wanted to. Ten minute drive from downtown and less than five from shopping. Thank you to the staff that provided a clean room and warm southern hospitality. The restaurant wasn’t too noisy and an always inviting relaxing atmosphere right at the entrance. Time for a swim!

Review ratings are lower than they should be. This is a wonderful place with great energy. Night kayaking was amazing with Tina as our guide. Rescue Turtles chomp on their allotment of romaine lettuce and a macau says hello and goodbye in perfect context thanks to the gentleman who said he trained her. Stoned Crab was supurb also. Continental breakfast is not that at all. It is a feast. Stay here. You won't regret it.

The hotel room is very cute with colorful colors, but I wish it had a coffee machine. The car can be parked in front of the door. It was very convenient. The hammocks were very enjoyable. It made you feel like you were in a summer place. There were problems with the bed and pillows. The bed was making noise. It was too small, but I loved the hospitality and cleanliness of its use.

This was the perfect spot for us! The nostalgia of the property is amazing. Read reviews before you go. The outside needs some TLC, but our room was fresh and clean. Parking at our door! Sunsets on the bay are gorgeous, be sure to take one in while relaxing in a hammock.

My husband & I spent a month touring Florida. Ibis Bay Beach Resort was our favorite. Walking out to you own beach every morning was priceless. Watching the sharks, renting bikes, amazing meals and cocktails. The Bartender was great at his job as well. We will be back.

This place was so great! The constant maintenance or upkeep was outstanding. Workers were always busy making sure there were no puddles after the rain and everything was clean. While enjoying the traquil waterfront patio at night a staff member walked by just to check in to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast did the job, it was not so elaborate but better than most hotels that claim they include breakfast. This place is great if you just want to relax and unwind.

First time staying at Ibis Bay and we were not disappointed. Fast check in, the facilities were clean. Our room was bay front, they have a hammock, some Lounge chairs and a table and chairs on the patio outside. The room was good sized and clean, nice decor.

They also have a small free continental breakfast at The Stoned Crab that we tried. Cereal, toast, waffles bagel, fruit, coffee, water....etc.

The property has iguanas, macaw, nurse sharks and tortoise hanging around. It's cool to watch them feed the animals.

Great hotel. Get a room on the beach side. Layed back - not extra fancy. Hammocks and chairs right outside the rooms. Staff is great - I mean they are there around the clock working. Free breakfast everyday in the restaurant. Plenty of wildlife. Found this poor Ibis with and injured foot and the staff immediately called wildlife rescue that showed up 15 mins later. Couldn't catch him but they said they would keep trying. Love a place that takes care of the community animals.

Great place. Stunning view. The staff is very kind and pleasant. It is right on the water and there are many types of rooms and cabins. Definitely a place worth the money you pay for it.

My wife and I rented a jetsky from Ibis and "9 1/2 Dan" was our guide/leader. He was amazing, very helpful and fun.

Its so cute. I love how it looks. It's in a pretty good spot. It has its own little beach area, there are hammocks everywhere. They have tortoises and parrots. The pool was nice and clean and had a great atmosphere in the evening. My only qualm (the lack of microwave) was remedied when I asked the front desk if they had one in the lobby. They brought us a microwave for our room. All in all I had a great stay.

Parking is just outside the room, sandy beach out back. Atmosphere of a cabana on an island.

Great locations. You want the rooms in the 100 buildings. They are beach front.

Rooms are showing their age. That aside, decorated very nice. Free breakfast and shuttles. Will definitely return.

This entire town is awesome. Everything was so clean and the people were all friendly. This was one the safest towns we've ever been.
The stay was unbelievable. So peaceful and hands down one of the best experiences our our lives. This was peace at its' finest. If we could get the prices at a lower rate, we will definitely go back again and again.

I did the night time kayaking and Devante was amazing! He was super patient and did a great job explain everything thoroughly! 10/10 recommend night time/ glow in the dark kayaking!

This resort met all of our needs. Met some wonderful strangers. We drank laughed and enjoyed our temporary moments together. My 10 year old also met other children and they played & had a great time. My rating is solely based on my experience not materialism. When you’re not hard to please you’ll appreciate everything that this place has to offer . Money doesn’t equate value. Special shout out to Nacho, the bartender!! He was the best ever . Always smiling and friendly. Thanks Ibis for such a wonderful experience..

Good place with a lot of interesting decors. Room is not huge but clean.

Just returned from a week in Key West! Stayed at Ibis Bay and loved it. Our room was perfect. The resort has a boho 50's vibe. Made me feel like old Hollywood! Everyone was responsive and friendly. They kept our room clean, the shuttle was handy & drivers friendly. Got us where we wanted to go. The only possible issue is there aren't many food options within walking distance. The Stoned Crab menu too limited and a bit pricey for multiple meals. Especially as my partner has a shell fish allergy and they only had one grilled fish option. But his snapper and my shrimp and snapper were very good. And I had poolside shrimp appetizers that were amazing! Love a poolside bar! If we go back we will definitely stay at Ibis Bay Resort with beach view room!
