The Laureate Key West

We were there for a week celebrating out 35th wedding anniversary Excellent service and staff! Beautiful views of the sun setting over the water. Clean rooms. Elaborate shower big enough for four people. Planning returning in the near future. My only recommendations would be that they add shuttle service to the airport and downtown and maybe the beaches. Renting a car worked best for us. Overall fantastic !

Great place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Duval at night. We had a nicely furnished suite on the fourth floor that provided for a great view of the bay. Suite was clean and very quiet the entire stay. Free parking under the building that was very well lit and felt very safe. The entire staff was exceptional and very accommodating. The only negative we encountered while there was finding tiny insects inside a box of baked goods after three days. In fairness, they could have come from the food to begin with. Who knows. We didn't see any other bugs anywhere else on the property the whole time we were there. It's a great property and we will definitely stay there again!

I stayed here from April 24 to April 26, 2024 and was very impressed with our room 316. Nice big deck, nice deck furniture, beautiful view of the ocean, huge bathroom, comfy king size bed, the pool was nice, complementary beverages at the pool, large covered parking spots and the staff was absolutely amazing. I will most definitely come back and stay.

We stayed two nights in April 2024. The hotel looks like it was completely updated within the last year or two; it looks brand new! It was very clean and even though it is on a busy street, the hurricane proof sliding doors shut out all street noise. It's a 15 minute ride from Oldtown where all the action is, and you can travel to and from there on the tour trolley, $50 for the day which takes you all around Key West with great stories about the area from the driver. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great room and fair price. It was perfect for us and our honeymoon. We had a king bed and inside was like a mini apartment. Room 207 is what we had

Our favorite hotel in Key West! My wife had stayed at Havana Cabana next door when she was a teen, but says The Laurate is quieter, has a much better view of the ocean, and feels more private. The value is outstanding - feels much nicer than its designated 2-star hotel status. The desk staff and housekeepers are very accommodating. The mechanical engineer on staff, who we ran into, was also very friendly and even took us to see the 3 bedroom suite on the 4th floor (technically the 6th floor).
Our young daughter swam in the heated pool almost every morning & evening and slept very well each night. I suppose all the water and sunshine will do that :)

Great location in key West away from the Duval Street Crowds. rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchenettes were a great way to save some money by not eating at restaurants every meal. Close to grocery.

Fantastic stay at The Laureate in Key West. Plenty of parking and up to date clean suites. I had a Queen room with ocean view. Mini kitchen included with utensils for cooking. A short drive into downtown but also quite a number of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room overlooked the ocean and main road but no noise at all at night was perfect. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Suite for price of a room. Beautiful views, clean. Quiet. Not the party place. Comfortable beds, balconies. Heated pool. Just not close to old town. Need car or ubers. Would stay again!

The rooms were large and clean and had a view of both sides of the hotel. The pool was heated so it was comfortable even in a rainstorm which made the trip super enjoyable. They had a well stocked property with a wine opener which came in handy. Their conditioner was actually really nice which is a rarity among hotel conditioners - I actually took one to go!

This was a beautiful hotel. Very modern, huge rooms. Ours had a lovely view. We just felt so comfortable there.
The pool was great, traffic noise for sure but enjoyable.

Had a ocean front room with a balcony an loved it. Beautifully decorated an very clean. Has a great little kitchen with everything, but not enough pans. Had a livingroom an 2 big TV's. I could actually live there.

We had a great 3 bedroom 3 bath unit. It was stocked with everything you could need and they daily clean and tidy service.

Very nice place. I feel it should be higher than a two star rating. The location is at the beginning of Key West, not near the hustle and bustle of Duval street.

Loved our stay here! The rooms were HUGE it felt more like a little apartment. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. The pool and grounds were clean. Even though the hotel is on a busy road, it remained quiet at night. I would stay here again!

Often times I go straight for mainstream brands and still end up with a mediocre Experience. I took a chance after looking at this property for my anniversary. At first I was going to choose something closer to Duval. So glad I didn’t! Avoid parking nightmares and the noise and still wake up to water views

Everything was as expected and advertised. I enjoyed everything down to the choice of soaps. The rooms were well appointed with quality materials. The excellent staff to include Valentin and two Haitian housekeepers were warm and beautiful. The only negatives for us were the pool was somewhat chilly and an iron was leaking. They replaced the iron within five minutes. Can’t wait to return and hopefully the service and stay will be just as amazing.

Wonderful hotel. We booked an apartment for four people. This was on two floors and had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There was a balcony on both sides. The furnishings are very modern and stylish. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly.
Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit out of the way. However, the center can be reached within ten minutes with an Uber.

We couldn't have gone to a more friendly and beautiful place to stay! It's worth every penny! The staff was amazing from the time of check in to check out!!

All rooms face the ocean and pool. The rooms are modern and very nicely decorated.
We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend it. We're a family of 5 and found the room spacious and well suited to fitting us all in.
The pool is a great size and there was table tennis as well.
We also found the price really good value for money.

I don’t even know where to start I’ve been in commercial landscape design and installation for 10 years I know what it takes to please a customer beyond all. And the staff and location of the laureate was impeccable at achieving that. The room was fantastic, cleanest I’ve ever seen. Staff was on point if any problems arose they didn’t stop till it fixed or an acceptable solution was in place. Their maintenance man Rick was awesome, I could talk to that man for hours. Pool was awesome and even sharing with another location that had a bar was even better. The office staff would text me every other day just to make sure that everything was still in order and amazing. We’ve already booked for next year. I will 100% recommend the laureate to EVERYONE. You guys run a fantastic establishment
