GERD RUBE - KEY WEST LIVE ACOUSTIC ROCK - MUSICIAN

We saw Gerd at Sloppy Joe's over Labor Day weekend. We had never heard of him or seen him perform before. I can say without hesitation that he was fantastic. His guitar playing and vocals were first rate. No imitation here. Also, we saw him just after the news that Jimmy Buffett had died. We were all in mourning. Gerd play a wonderful tribute to Jimmy, hitting all the songs that we all loved and giving us a moment to grieve but celebrate Jimmy. No ordinary performer could do what Gerd did. Thank you so much.

We had a GREAT time listening to Gerd Rube in Key West!!!! He was a fantastic singer, played fun songs, and got the whole crowd to sing along! Made our night!!!

Saw Gerd at Sloppy Joe’s in Key West. Omg! He is awesome. Not only a fantastic guitar player but a great vocalist. He will have you singing along to classic rock tunes. His smile lights up the room. If he is anywhere near you be sure to check him out. I’ve never seen a bar band receive an encore requests …and the crowd still wanted more.

We saw Gerd at Sloppy Joe’s when he was filling in on a Wednesday night. He normally does Saturday’s, but we were so lucky to get to see him. The entire bar got PACKED when he started playing and everyone was singing along to every song. The best performance I saw during my tour of the keys. A must-see if you get the chance. You’ll have a blast.

A group of us headed to Sloppy Joe's the other night to hear Gerd. He rocked the house and definitely connected with the audience. Looking forward to seeing him again soon!!

My wife and I have seen Gerd Rube several times in Key West, and most recently in September 2018 with Sandra Lee. We love his music - just great acoustic & vocals that captures the Key West and summer vibe. First time we have seen Sandra Lee - seems to have great chemistry together with Gerd. Please do your summer east coast tour again in 2019!

Gerd is an amazing singer, songwriter and musician! His songs transport you to the islands and "By The Water", right where I want to be!
