Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Key West

My mom and I came here for a work trip that I was lucky enough to be able to tag along for. My mom had stayed at this location a few times but do a miscommunication was booked at the other farfield that we didn’t realize until we got here. We were able to explain this to Ellen at the front desk and she was more than accommodating, finding us the best rate and letting us check in early. I spent almost 2 days straight at the pool and the whole atmosphere was heavenly, but a special thanks to Ellen for making it happen!

The best so far! We are visiting Florida and staid to other hotels during these weeks but this hotel has everything we were looking for and eco friendly!

Rooms: clean and spacious with the refillable shampoo, conditioner and soap!
Swimming pool: finally with a great temperature and not too hot!

Service: the personnel is very welcoming and friendly. They provide towels for the pool and free sunscreen and after sun cream near the pool. Also a free ice lolly at some point during the day!!
Fee water in the room and if you need, at the reception! Never seen anywhere else…
Bar open at poolside with everything you need.

Free transfer to downtown available and bookable in advance.

Good night sleep (the air conditioning fan is a bit loud but everyone slept good)
Breakfast 🤩 everything you need and more with a pool view!

What a surprise! Was one of the best Fairfield hotels I've ever stayed in. Immaculate rooms and all areas as well. The complimentary breakfast is totally out of this world. The staff was supper professional and friendly. Great location. Walking distances from main points of interest in Key West. This is definitely a place I would love to come back to and recommend it to everyone .

Nice hotel , I liked the location and breakfast was good. Staff was also very friendly with exception of one shuttle driver who was a little rude saying we needed a reservation which nobody mentioned to us and it doesn't say anywhere. I dont think he needed to be as hateful as he was but we all have our bad days I guess. The pool was very nice and they have beach towels conveniently right there. They also have laundry if you need to wash some bathing suits and office has quarters . Overall nice, however I did find one roach in the bathroom and our bathroom door lock would stick locking us out of our bathroom. But other than the one bug everything else was nice and I will stay again next time we visit key west.

Our room was clean and nice. However, it did have a slight odor to it of Marijuana. The room was supposed to be smoke-free, so it's not really the hotels fault. The service was the best you can ask for, and the pool concierge was at his very best. He passed out Popsicles to everyone and always had everything perfect and clean!

Eileen was amazing. So nice and really helpful. We extended our stay and she really worked hard to accommodate us. We were impressed with her service. Room was clean. Could use some renovation, but clean for sure. Pool area was nice. Giant iguana that hangs out there, which is cool for the kids. I would have liked to see them skim the pool more but otherwise nice. Would stay here again.

We have just left this property. After reading some of the recent reviews I thought we we had made a mistake. How wrong could we be. The service was fantastic, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice and big walk-in shower. The pool was nice, only 5ft deep so nice for relaxing in the sun. Plenty of Sun loungers and some gazebo style if you need some shade. Great pool bar, basic breakfast but better than usual. I particularly enjoyed the sausage muffin sandwiches. They have every juice you can think of and cartons of milk including chocolate milk. Good choice of cereal. All the staff were extremely friendly. A complimentary shuttle bus takes you to Duval street on the hour, every hour. It picks you back up at 20 past the hour, last one is at 11.20pm back to the hotel so you can experience the Duval st nightlife which is absolute must! Some of the negative reviews makes me think guests are expecting 5 star quality in a 3 star hotel. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. Great price, great location, great hotel!

Everyone is super friendly. Albert at the front desk was very helpful. Ed and Damian at the bar are Super! Location is nice the shuttle is very convenient and the breakfast is open until 10am!! The pool is very nice and the ambiance with the music is fabulous. Highly recommend 👍

We stayed here at the end of May and it was excellent. Rooms and amenities were clean, staff was warm and friendly. The shuttle was an excellent resource. The pool area was spectacular. A little pricey sure, but Key West is like that. Overall a five star experience at a three star price.

We had a great vacation. They offer a shuttle every hour to and back from downtown. We enjoyed not staying downtown with all the crowds. The hotel was beautiful. Great service people at the desk helped us get set to take a few tours. we were able to check in early because our flight was an early flight. The pool is amazing. They offer breakfast every morning. I would recommend staying here every time. Me and my husband and I will for sure be coming back to stay here. it's just a very stress free vacation. We didn't have to worry about parking or transportation. They offer a ride to the beach with chairs and umbrella all day. The driver was super amazing and stopped and had a gas station so we could get drinks to take with us. Just a wonderful hotel, and they have everything you need. We have several friends well be recommended to stay here. I'm super happy we found this place.

They give you every day, every hour, free shuttle to let you visit the key west center.
A little poor on breakfast selection, but not too bad. Best beach: fort Zachary!

Front desk staff was very helpful and had excellent customer service.
The room was small but everything was very clean and well distributed. We had complimentary bottles of water in the room and plenty of fresh bath towels.
We enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the morning , is a grab and go buffet and had tables to sit looking at the beautiful pool.
The parking was free .
I asked for an hour late check out and the lady at the FD was very nice and said yes. I definetely recommend this hotel. Great experience

Our stay started off with the incredibly friendly front desk staff! Rooms are nice and clean, and the breakfast is just fine. Nice to have free shuttle to and from downtown. Nice pool area too. This place was a big part of our great family vacation.

The Fairfield (this specific location) had the best rates in key west over spring break. I have stayed a few other places and honestly this is probably where I will stay from now on.
It is low key, close to everything, and above all clean. They don’t have extra fees that they hit you with after you’ve booked once you arrive like some other places (Hilton). The rooms had been recently updated and were clean. Housekeeping was friendly and brought fresh towels and swept sand while we were out. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool has is pretty and there are plenty of shaded areas as well as sunny areas. The vibes are very family friendly. The cabana bar staff were friendly and had no problem making virgin pina coladas for the kids so they felt special too. All in all it was relaxing and I can’t wait to go back.
We didn’t rent a car but they have a parking garage in the back.
We had a room facing the pool courtyard and it was quite the view to wake up to every morning.
There is an included breakfast daily and there are several more options than your typical hotel breakfast so even though we ate there every morning for a week, there was enough variety we didn’t eat the same thing each morning.
I would recommend staying on the second floor as there is a lot of foot traffic at night with the couples who have gone out until late but on the second floor it’s not bad.
This specific Fairfield location is a good place to stay as a family, couple, or single.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in my many trips to Key West so far. Super friendly staff, excellent pool, Buy one get one drinks first one, shuttle service and most importantly free onsite parking available all for $25 resort fee. The rooms were super clean and safe. Amazing hotel in the keys for a fraction of the price you’d pay in town itself. 5 min drive to all the night hot spots. Free transportation provided till 1120pm back to your hotel. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m down to the keys. Stayed here June 16-17, 2022. No complaints whatsoever. A++++

Been going here for years I just love it here normally we stay in a regular room this time I got a suite. Now I can't wait to go back in June

We had the best time at this hotel. The bar opens at 12pm & closes 9pm. The bartender who kinda reminded me of Einstein lol , was a great bartender!!! Housekeeping came as often as needed/requested! The pool area was clean. Rooms were very clean as well. Fresh clean towels & linens. Ice machines on each floor. Hot complimentary breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. They have a small laundry room if needed $2 to wash $1 to dry . Friendly staff throughout! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Oooh, they also have scooter rentals on the first floor ! Wish I had known before renting elsewhere.
