Southern Hickory Barbecue

I went here while going to a wrestling event next door and I was like they got a drive thru let’s check them out and I must say it was a great visit.. Their bbq is very different it’s really good their corn is sooo juicy and good lol … Their ribs are great I didn’t have any sauce it was good with out . Then they are reasonable their not expensive I see y their be so busy .. I will return when ever I’m back in town.

VERY friendly workers that came outside to take orders and speed things along when the line started building up.

Yes, party pack, please! Every time I'm back home visiting, I'm making a stop here. Don't forget the potato salad and pie!

Loved trying the Pork Plate with Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Roll, & Unsweet Tea for my taste of my experience & it was good & my brother's meal was good too.

The bbq is amazing and the vinegar sauce is legendary. Like everyone they have gone up some on the prices but are still very reasonable especially in today's economy

Rib plates, potatoes, BBQ sandwiches and stew are all delicious. No complaints and very friendly staff and will keep coming back!

y'all i am from mississippi and i thought we had good bbq until i moved to Alabama and my husband took me here..after 7 years it is still my favorite..i sent some home to my daddy with my mama and she said he drank the juice out of the slaw and said it was the best pulled pork he'd ever eaten

Best Bar B Q around! We moved 333 miles away and every time we are back visiting, we always stop by and get vacuum sealed bags of BBQ to take home with us because no one does BBQ like Southern Hickory!!!

Best BBQ around! Great flavor, and the white sauce is outstanding. Slaw is good to, and the price is great. I prefer this over Gibsons, Pigstand, or other local places I've tried

Love it. We have family that visit Hartselle from several surrounding states. When they arrive they usually request Southern Hickory for supper - the FIRST night.

Love the pulled pork sandwiches. They are so juicy. Love the slaw. I wish they served fries here.

The young guy who helped me at the window patiently and politely gave me a rundown of every sauce they had, the lady who gave me the order after that, told me thank you and she appreciated our business & barbecue was excellent!

Sweet tea is amazing! and I love their half chicken or Turkey sandwiches.

Ohhh budy, my favorite of everything. Service is always so polite. Even if there's a line it moves pretty quickly.

I like this location more than Cullman, simply because the employees are friendlier. Fast BBQ on the run.
