I found it very helpful! The workers were friendly and informed me of everything they could with the information I had furnished them with. Also, the best tip I can give anyone is as follows.
** I found that the closer you get there to closing in time [5pm]•• the least amount of time you'll have to spend. As long as you're there before 5 p.m. they will see you. Try to arrive 15 minutes before 5 p.m. and you should spend at the very most 30-45 minutes max. If you come earlier in the day, you may have to spend as much as two hours.
**The newer employees are much more pleasant than some of the ones that have retired over the past few years. Many of them acted as though it was coming out of their paycheck if they told you of a program that you qualified for. Not to mention the whole time they were looking down their nose at you, they were holding back information on programs that your kids could have qualified for and would've benefited from!!
#Not sad to see the mean ones go! Great improvement has been made

Very clean and organized. Well mannered employees whom are always helpful. Separate gender restrooms. Play area for children as well as two televisions for entertainment in the waiting area. Vending machines are also available in the waiting area. Handicap parking and entrance assessable.

Four star rating simply because it's near impossible to speak to anybody when you call. If you have an emergency please plan on going inside said establishment. Please be understanding that these workers are not the problem, they are understaffed, underpaid and overworked. There's always some mass confusion due to different parts their systems because only certain people handle certain things on certain days. Therefore it takes a while to get anything accomplished. The worker received the butt and when they're just the messengers. They are very helpful to the community, I appreciate that we have resources like this. The ones that don't comply are the ones that don't receive and leave bad reviews. Sometimes paperwork can be a handful but it is worth child care, healthcare, ect when you're truly in need.

Honestly, without this office, I wouldn't have been able to leave an abusive relationship and raise my children in safety on my own. They have a high turn-over rate with workers coming and going, but I've found that they've all been easy to work with. Helpful. Now, my children are grown and in college, happy and well-adjusted. Healthy due to medicaid, and I'm grateful that I had this resource.

Usually busy but always keeping the flow of operation. Go to the first window you see in front of you, the receptionist desk, to get information, turn in documents, or get your appointment setup for whatever the case may be. Play area for kids, magazines, plenty of seating, free parking and not too long of wait times.
