The store is set up nicely and everything is very well presented. I really like that you can try before you buy any instrument that is on display there. Affordable guitars to begin with and the store and owners give off a very bright and happy mood. I would go there again if i had anything to sell, trade or buy!

Probably 2 of the friendliest people you will ever come across. This is not just a place to buy good quality instruments(which they are), it's a place to hear great stories and have a wonderful conversation. I'm always talking about my visits there days after I've been its that amazing. Thank you grandpa Barry and Mrs grandpa barry(happy birthday again!) Always amazing.

Pretty decent selection, and an amazing collection of "weird", unusual offerings. Prices are more than fair. There's a section just for the lefties, too, which can be quiet difficult to find! Aaaaand, some very neat pottery and gorgeous original paintings (hubs is the guitar guy - I fell in love with the art. Haha.)

I've bought several instruments from Grandpa Barry's Guitars and have been very satisfied with all of them! Grandpa Barry is very friendly, providing great customer service, and is knowledgeable about the instruments he sells. He carries some really unique instruments as well. I've purchased a banjitar and an electric guitar with a built-in synthesizer, as well as a collector's item guitar that was manufactured for a guitar pick company. I really enjoy being able to support a small business instead of a big company and Grandpa Barry is the standard for why we should always shop local. He gets to know his customers and treats them like friends. It's always a pleasure to go in to the shop even just to browse or chat with Barry about music and musical instruments. Whether you need an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, six string, 12 string, 7 string, bass, lap steel, resonator, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, amplifier, microphone, stand, strap, or guitar pick, Grandpa Barry's probably has what you are looking for. And if they don't they will do their best to get it! They also carry great inexpensive starter instruments for kids or even adults who are wanting to take up a new instrument.

I went to Grandpa Barry's Guitars to look at an up grade for my 4string bass. For the last couple of years ,I think ,at least I hope that my skill set had ,grown beyond my instraments designed capabilities..I am a novice .I was hoping to find a like minded allie at GPG's rather than a salesperson was commission driven.. There was not one like minded person as myself.. .There were 2, Eileen and Barry.. I ended up getting a great bass. The price was very good for what I hopped to find that level of quality bass.and impecable.. service.. Thank you Barry and Eileen.

Just bought my first electric violin and amp, at a good Black Friday price. Bought a mandolin a while back. The owners are nice and helpful. Love the store!

I had 2 instruments repaired recently and am very satisfied with the results. The work was done in a timely manner. Friendly staff! I do plan to use their service in the future!

This is the cutest little antique shop with so much variety. The nicest couple runs the store and are super helpful and welcoming to newcomers

The whole shop is very interesting! The guitar section has some interesting and unusual things to see. Certainly worth it if you are in the area!
