Roasted Cafe

Great food, elevated from the standard diner cafe menu with fresh fruits and nuts and great seasoning. The breakfast quesadilla with fruit and salsa was excellent. No wait!

What a wonderful and busy dinner. They serve comfort goods like Biscuits and Gravy, with or with out sides. Wonderful hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes. We only ate breakfast here but I believe the serve lunch. It's an old building, definitely not fancy but it's what you expect is a small town. The service was great, friendly They could tell we were not local, and made us feel welcomes.

This place is the best kept secret in Ottawa. My wife and I didn't know about this place until we found it by chance. The food was amazing. I had the cowboy burger (beef patty, cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, and topped with two onion rings). My wife had the bacon and blue burger (patty, bacon, and blue cheese). Both burgers were cooked to specifications perfectly. The fries were good too.
Shout out to our waitress. She was amazing. I asked her about the restaurant's history and she did a great job telling us about how the restaurant opened in 2020 during covid and the owner moved here to open a restaurant from Colorado (having 3 restaurants there). She also did a great job keeping our drinks full and suggesting meals.
I don't normally get a dessert when eating out, but there was homemade pie, cheesecake, and muffins. I ordered the apple pie and my wife had the cheesecake. Oh my.....these were delicious. I highly recommend their pie.
We are definitely going to go back. They are known for their breakfast. We plan on trying the discard gravy and the chicken fried chicken.
If you're in Ottawa, I recommend you try out Roasted.

My husband and I ate at the Roaster Cafe about two months ago. We are back visiting one of our kids and liked this place before, so we tried it again. We were not disappointed. We really like the restaurant. We had blueberry pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, ham, eggs. It was very good.
Jinny was very nice and friendly.
The restaurant was very clean and has a great historic atmosphere.

We will eat here again before we leave Ottawa, KS.

Recommended! Holly, my server, was amazing! I had the all meat omelet with crisp hash browns, rye toast, and a piece of French toast with coffee. Everything was cooked to my specifications, and very tasty. The staff were perfectly attentive and provided an adequate amount of sassyness back at me. I will be back if in the area again.

Very friendly waitress, old hometown feel, food arrived quickly and was great! It's good to find these local places that cater to their customers, you feel like family.

This was our first time coming to Roasted Cafe, but we will definitely be back. The food was amazing, service was amazing, and everyone was so nice. It’s a wonderful atmosphere and the decorations are so awesome to look at.

Love this place ! Felt like I stepped back in time into a downtown diner from years ago. Nostalgic decor . The food was fresh , home-cooked and beyond words ! We Will definitely be returning !

The service is always amazing. We came in with my nephew who is autistic and they still served us without hesitation or a problem with him! This meant alot to my family because we usually have issues going out to eat. Thank you for your continued amazing service!!!!!

Had a wonderful breakfast today! First time eating here. Employees were friendly, food was good. Will eat here again!!! Nice to have a real sit down meal!!!

A good, old fashioned cafe tucked on a side street in small town American. Good food and coffee. Have the homemade cherry pie. You'll thank me.

If you visit Iowa town near Larwence, KS, don't forget to stop by the Roasted Cafe. When you enter, completely different what is normally expected. Very charm, friendly owner and staff, food is good. A lot of native American items transported you to their era. Very interesting.

First time stopping by Roasted Cafe in Ottawa. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! We will make sure to stop by again the next time we drive through.

The best little cafe in town. Went in today for my birthday lunch and had some delicious chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes. And even got a little candle on it to blow out for my special day lol. So glad that they are here and we will always be back for more great food and service

It’s like of a Cracker Barrel had a way way nicer cousin. Servers are super nice and the atmosphere is so refreshing! The food tastes amazing highly recommend the pancakes!
