Have an older Ovation nylon acoustic with a pickup that was faulty. Got it fixed and ready to use in less than a week! Very quick work and professional! Will be coming to him in the future if I have any more issues.

Dow has done outstanding repair and restoration work for me for over 3 years on a variety of high end guitars both electric and acoustic. 80s Fender Telecaster, 1970s Guild X175, pre-war Martin 2-17, 30s Kalamazoo acoustic, even a cheap little Squier that I wanted to swap pickups on. He is a master at his craft and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Haven't visited other luthiers to compare. He has been my first and pretty much will be going there forever.. Got a fret end work and harmonic set up done there.. His experience speaks.. Love my guitar even more. Thank you Mr. Dow Ferguson, owe you loads.

He has done solid restoration work for me on a barrel back mandolin, as well as instillation of a pick up in a classical guitar. He works on a variety of string instruments. He's a solid talent who has successfully done work for me that high end shops in Austin wouldn't touch.

Diw Ferguson. He is a master craftsman at his work as well as an accomplished musician. He repaired our granddaughter's guitar, as well as an ukulele that had been hand made for my husband by a dear friend in HI, but had been damaged in one of our military moves.
