The Retreat

We've been living here for a month now. I love how light and bright our apartment is, and I'm thrilled that there is no carpeting in the central living area It's super quiet here, and my neighbors are so friendly. Compared to the place we used to live in, this is a real palace. I agree with the people who mentioned that maintenance is a little slow at times. The maintenance issues we've had are not things that can be resolved instantly. I like the fact that the app allows me to see the status of my requests, so I feel reassured that I haven't been forgotten. The people in the office are wonderful.

After two years, my previous review still holds true. I'm so impressed with the improvements that new management has made - and the improvements are continuing. I have the nicest neighbors, and maintenance is on top of things whenever we submit maintenance requests. I can't rave enough about this place.

I have enjoyed staying here @ the retreat. Sheila and Jaylen are pretty cool and laid back office personnel. They are always there to help me with anything that I need. My apartment complex is pretty quiet I haven’t had any issues and I have been living here for a year so far.

The property was beauty. Touring here made me feel comfortable that I would actually be getting exactly what I am looking for in my next apartment. The staff is friendly and don’t speak to you as though they’re just trying to get a lease signed but as if you’re a neighbor.

Jaylin B really comes through when I have any questions or issues with my apartment and makes sure everything is handled promptly even following up with me to make sure everything is still good. This new management has really made good changes to the complex

I really like this apartment complex it’s quite and not a lot happens. And the leasing office is extremely helpful especially Vivica any time i have any questions or need help with anything she’s the one that always right there with answers or solutions.

Been looking for a home recently since I just started working near the Waco area. Ms Vivica at the front office has been super duper helpful and sweet - helping me with my application and other things. I would SO live here if it was just a little bit closer to my job :( but I appreciate the staff for their help!! 5 star rating anyways. Always professional.

When we were looking for apartments to move into the very first time my husband seen The Retreat and loved them! After talking to Jody and looking over floor plans we knew this was the place for us. The staff is so friendly and sweet. They were also patient with us when we had a problem. Not many places would have been. The neighbors are great also. It’s a quiet place. The gym is great, and we can’t wait to barbecue out by the pool! So glad we picked The Retreat to make it our home!

I have been living at these apartments for over a year, before the new management took over. In the beginning it was a little rough, but once the New Management took over they made it a HOME! The staff has always been helpful and maintenance has been on point. The upgrades that they have been doing to the ENTIRE PROPERTY looks amazing and has made this a better place! I recommend these apartments to anyone that asks.

Such a great place! The management is so nice and caring. I wrote this review about a year ago when I first moved into the retreat apartments and I felt like I needed to edit and say how much I appreciate living here. This is by far the best place I've ever lived. The management is great and makes sure to address every concern without hesitation. My lease is up at the end of February and I sure will miss living here

We were thinking of moving to temple, so I stopped in for a tour. Staff was super nice and energetic. The maintenance even greeted us out on Property. While on my tour... Residents stopped us telling us all the great things about this place. When residents are raving about it... I know it's good, because beck... they already live there. I totally love Ashley and the great vibe her and all her staff brings. I will definitely be making this place my home.

Since I’ve been a tenant here , I absolutely love the complex . Its well kept and clean and quiet. I also love that its a pet friendly apartment building and that it wasn't a issue for me to have my pitbull puppy living with me . Another thing that makes these apartments so welcoming is that for every holiday there is always decorations and party or event in which residents are encouraged to participate in.
Luckily for me the apartments are only a few minutes away from my job at the hospital on 31st Street and whenever i need to travel on the highway , I35 is literally down the road and its never been an issue with noise or traffic unless it’s during the busy hours while everyone is trying get to work or home from work .

This is the first apartment my husband and I have ever lived in and I can't really complain too much. The water gets turned off if they're doing a toilet or bathtub installation, but I think that's pretty normal. Any issues we've had are addressed as soon as we put in a work order. Loved Kari in the front office, she was such a nice lady. Sad to see her go. It's a great first apartment.

Best place in town! a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day. The pool area is lovely. The paw park is a great place to let my fur baby out for a run! I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else... I always recommend them!

The staff is bar far the best. They are friendly and willing to help out when needed. The maintenance crew work fast and is very respectful when ever they come into the apartment. Overall very quiet at night and well lit with lights around apartment complex.

I love the retreat! We moved in when I was 37 weeks pregnant and wanted a nice and safe place to start a family and it just felt like home here. Staff and maintenance here are so understanding and patient. We are so glad we moved here we've had no problem and it's a beautiful place to live.

I love my apartment, I love how friendly all of my neighbors are. And it's surprisingly quiet for an apartment complex. I absolutely LOVE the ladies in the office. 100% nice all the time and did everything they could to get me into an apartment. So lucky I got this place and so happy I decided to stay here. I would really recommend this place to everyone.

It's a nice and quiet apartment. All of my neighbors are nice and everyone cleans up the trash. I have a one bedroom and it's pretty roomy. Not much noise from upstairs neighbor. I thought it was bad the police were always over but they literally just ride around so i guess it's safe. The gym could use some weights but who cares right.

I love my apartment and the staff very friendly. The apartment is very nice very big enough for my family. Anytime i needed something fixed it was put to work to fix right away. It has beautiful carpet extremely soft. Big masteroom. Huge closets and nice bathrooms. The only thing i wished to have was a ceiling fan and light but im happy with my place. I love it. I would say this is the best place i ever have lived apartment wise. I would suggest this place to anyone needing a place to live.

I've lived there for a year and renewed my lease. The upgrades have made the place even nicer. It's quiet and off the beaten path. The staff is helpful. I've had no issues and have enjoyed living here. It is my retreat.

There was quite a few hiccups with my application but one of their reps Vanessa went above and beyond to take care of me. She was always available when i call.It was a real pleasure working with her. I love my apartment especially how quite the area is. Two thumbs up to you Vanessa, I appreciate you and the rest of the staff. Thanks
